This house is great and the view was amazing. The house is stocked well, clean, comfortable and has plenty of room. Lake chatuge is absolutely beautiful. We had a great time, rented pontoon and surf boat, found the rope swings on the lake. Would definitely rent this house again.
All I can say is Wow! Very nice home with quality furnishings. Super clean and luxurious. We all had a fabulous time! Ping pong was a hit and the kids caught lots of fish off the dock! The neighborhood is very nice as well and close to restaurants and stores. We hope to be back again in the future!
Lake Chatuge and the surrounding mountains are beautiful! This home has a great view and was very comfortable with lots of space. Owners were great to work with and very welcoming. Definitely will stay again.
We had the best time. Lots of room for guests. The view and access to the lake was amazing. Spent a lot of time at dock in the water. A very kid-friendly stay with lots of games and things to do. The most relaxing vacation we have had and we love Lake Chatuge.
The house was beautiful. The kids got to roast marshmallows, go in the lake, play many boardgames that were already at the home when we arrived. It was absolutely perfect for a family vacation
The lake view from this house is beautiful! The lake tranquil in the small, quiet cove. House and amenities are as described. Comfortable and fun, with all the board games and the challenging electronic golf game which we were finally getting the hang of by the end of our week! Would book again.
The house was perfectly suited for our group. The views were stunning for your morning coffee, the house had tons of space, well equipped, and very easy to get to. If you plan on renting a boat, the dock is right there! The town has some great little spots less than 2 mi away. 10 out of 10 will be staying here again. Steve and Melissa were great hosts and quick to respond. Cannot say enough good things and I will definitely be coming back.

Thanks for the kind review, looking forward to hosting you again.
What a beautiful spot on the lake! The whole family had so much fun exploring the neighborhood, boating, preparing meals together or ordering inn and then eating at that beautiful dining room table with a view! We all had the best time and now I can say I’ve finally played cricket, in the garage at my Verbo. Thanks for helping us create great memories!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay in this lovely, roomy home. The view of the lake is very picturesque from both the house and the deck. The kitchen is well supplied and has new appliances. The property manager was super responsive. All in all, we highly recommend this rental and would most definitely rent again.

Thank you Suzann! We're glad you enjoyed the view as much as we do. We would love for you to visit again. Thank you for choosing our home.
Nice house, needs a little more furniture and some more entertainment options for the cold winter months when you can't spend a lot of time outdoors. Huge 5 car garage area could possible house a pickelball court and the lower level maybe billiard or table tennis. The kitchen was well equiped. Would have been fun on the lake if it was nice out. Owners set up a Xmas tree so the grandkids could continue to enjoy Christmas. Thanks!

Thank you for the review!
I agree we need more entertainment options for the winter season. We have plans in the works, but nothing as great as putting a pickleball court in the garage. That is such a fun idea. I am getting my tape measure out next time I am there to see if it will work!! Thanks again!
Our family stayed at your house this year. It Was absolutely wonderful. We loved your new dock. We have our own boat and equipment and love the location and the views. Family meals, games, time Together.Chatuge Lake is beautiful. Parents and kids enjoyed the Pickleball. Rooms and beds were excellent board games and puzzles provided they have a fenced backyard if you bring your own dog. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and caring were put in the preparation of this property. We have a video, but it’s too large too send. Sometime if you would like to look at it, I can possibly provide you the address on YouTube. once again thank you thank you thank you.
Great house for families--plenty of room and separate areas for various age groups to enjoy. Well equipped home with games, activities, and kitchen supplies. The wood-fired grill would not function. We read instructions and googled the causes. Evidently, the grill needed to be cleaned before it would ignite, and we were not willing to undertake that task and believe the grill should have been clean and functional upon our arrival. We would have appreciated being advised that the hot tub is wood-fired and requires 24 hrs to heat up. Unfortunately, the smoke from the fire box drifted onto the deck area making for smoky conditions. Additionally, there was algae on the hot tub seating and the water did not look inviting. We were surprised to be driven indoors by mosquitoes during the day; they were horrible! The shower in the (tiny) master bath dripped constantly causing sleep disruption. The dock was enjoyable and stocked with floatation devices, kayak, lily pad, etc. Guests should be advised that the descent/ascent to and from the dock is steep and consists of 81 stair-steps from the main level.Despite these disappointments, our stay was enjoyable. We especially appreciated being able to dock our boat and bring our dog!
Beautiful view of the mountains!!! A nice house with plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay.

Why they chose this property
We discovered this neighborhood by accident while visiting friends who lived on the lake. One visit was all it took—we fell in love with the peaceful setting and beautiful scenery and knew we wanted a place here too.

Our favorite part of the home is its true mountain-lake experience. From the elevated views to the quiet mornings and evenings by the water, it's a place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beauty of North Georgia.
