Had a wonderful time!
We enjoyed our time at this home. It is convenient to downtown Bar Harbor. The home is well stocked. If we ever decide to head back up, I would definitely rent again.
The house is an easy walk from anything you could want in town, the decor is charming, and everything worked as described, making for a smooth and pleasant stay.
Wonderful cozy home in a perfect location near downtown Bar Harbor. The home was quiet and comfortable and made our stay even that more special. Julie was a wonderful host and we hope to return again with our family.
We try to visit ANP at least every other year and like to stay right in Bar Harbor. This was our first time staying at this location but depending on availability it won’t be our last. Seven adults stayed comfortably here with large bedrooms, enough bathrooms and plenty of room to prepare meals, eat, play games and relax. We especially loved relaxing on the front porch after a busy morning of hiking before we walked into town to explore the many restaurants and shops.
Great location in town and very well equipped and stocked house. Can't imagine a better location for access to town as well as Acadia National Park.
Owner is very responsive and the house has everything one would want for a vacation rental.
Ledgelawn Cottage is a wonderful home. There is so much room and the owners truly provide everything you need. We’d highly recommend staying here with your family or friends.
This was our fourth stay at Ledgelawn cottage. As always, we had a great time. Julie is a wonderful host. The location is perfect. This visit we didn’t use our car once.
The house was a true old beautiful home. It made me feel like I went back in time to historical days with a modern twist. I can't wait to book it again next year.
We loved the house and the location. Walk to shops and restaurants. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Julie was very quick to answer any questions we had. Hope to stay there again!!!
We had a wonderful stay here for our fall family vacation. The home has plenty of space for families and little ones, comfy beds, and a well equipped kitchen. Lots of useful maps/brochures of town, a cute little “library” reading area (with even a thoughtful kids library).
The location is perfect for walking into downtown restaurants and shops. All very walkable.
Julie was a friendly, helpful and responsive host. We highly recommend booking!
We took a girls trip to Bar Harbor to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The location of this home was perfect. Quick walk to restaurants and harbor. The host is very responsive and provides a charming home with lots of character. We enjoyed our stay. Be sure to read the guest book as there are great recommendations for restaurants. 15 minute drive to Acadia National Park.

Fantastic property, close to everything in Town
The house was absolutely fantastic and has everything you could possibly need for a stay with family or friends! Its proximity to downtown Bar Harbor is great - easily walkable for late nights or shopping trips. Plenty of parking on the street.
And Julie was fantastic! She even helped with suggestions for our rehearsal dinner party and responded to emails/texts immediately.

Thank you Rachel. It was a real pleasure to have you stay.
We had a wonderful time at our Vrbo. The house is within walking distance to town. We walked in every morning for coffee. The yard is spacious and plenty of rooms for sleeping. There were adequate accommodations for children, including a high chair and toddler, which we greatly appreciated. Our host was responsive and gracious when we had any concerns.
We loved our two-week stay in Bar Harbor. This home was extremely clean and fit all of us very well. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed, and the two porches were wonderful. Our boys enjoyed the backyard so much, and we made use of the grill several times. Walkability was absolutely perfect for not only going into town for restaurants, but also access to the shore path, farmer's market, and playground.
