Wonderful house! Our group of friends enjoyed every minute at Brigham Farmhouse! The living spaces are comfortable and varied allowing individuals to have quiet time when needed as well as space for a group. The house has everything one needs for cooking a nice meal if that is the plan. We had several nice meals in Mt.Horeb. The house is well supplied with towels, tissues and soaps. The view from the porch is the perfect antidote to busy lives.

Thanks so much for your kind review Karen! We love this Farmhouse and will be glad to have you all back anytime ;)
This is a large and beautiful historical home with a modern kitchen and various gathering nooks for kids and adults alike. The hilltop views from the home are stunning and make a great backdrop to the large front porch and side deck. The home is private and secluded - it keeps the world at bay If you want to get away, or provides personal space to reconnect with others. When you're ready to get out, it's not far to several interesting small towns and tourist attractions.
This property was a nice combination of historic with newer amenities. The property had a beautiful view. The main level bedroom and bathroom was nice for our aging parents.
Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We stayed there in order to ride the Horribly Hilly Hundred bike event - the location was just perfect for riding to and from the course. We stayed with old friends in the house, and the front veranda was just lovely for sitting in the evening and enjoying time together. The kitchen is marvelous for making meals. A great stay!
Clean and well-equipped older home with modern kitchen, comfortable beds, great privacy and a stunning view. Lot's of different little nooks to hang out in. We keep coming back to hold our small annual family reunion.

So happy to have Lee and his family enjoy time at Brigham Farmhouse! They are fantastic guests and are welcome back any time!
Such a treat to stay in a historic old home like Brigham Farm. Clean, comfortable furniture including king beds, well stocked kitchen. Lots of room inside and outside, tastefully decorated. Just a wonderful place overall. Everything worked well and Sarah was quick to respond and communicated very well.
The Brigham Farmhouse was an amazing way to spend a weekend. Close to Madison, bike trails, and the Cave of the Mounds, we were ahrrounded by fun activities. However, those weren't needed as the Farmhouse had enough to keep our entire group entertained. Loved our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the Brigham Farmhouse! The place overflows with character and is so charming. It was a wonderful place to spend time with family. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The fall colors were vibrant and the view was expansive.

Happy New Year!!!
With our adult children home, we wanted a little getaway over the holiday. This location is near my grandmother's old farm, where we like to visit and hike, and so the location was perfect. The house was not only cozy with a beautiful view, it was also modern, clean, and updated. We had a lovely 2-night stay!
Wonderful property. Loved the connection to local history, the historic character, beautiful rooms, fun game attic, spectacular views and proximity to the cave and the trails. The free tickets to Cave of the Mounds were a great bonus. We will look for a chance to come back.

Thank you so much for your awesome review and staying with us at Brigham Farmhouse. We love sharing this special property and area with folks and are excited to welcome you back next year❤️
This is a fantastic property! The pictures do not do it justice. The house had a wonderful front porch with a gorgeous view. It’s very spacious, extremely well stocked and has a bonus room upstairs which we enjoyed watching a movie as a family. It was the perfect place for our crew to come together.
Our family spent a beautiful Christmas at the Brigham farmhouse. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking holiday meals, and the library, huge TV, and pingpong table kept us all entertained. The first-floor suite was perfect for the nonagenarian, who is spry but not fond of stairs. The Cave of the Mounds is a short walk down the hill and not to be missed. Many thanks to Sarah for the assistance and the holiday decorations, which made the house look even more special.

Happy New Year!!!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. We felt as though we were able to step back in time and enjoy the architecture and design of yesteryear. However, all the modern amenities were greatly appreciated! The communication with Sarah was excellent. She provided us with maps, tickets to the amazing cave, and helpful information. I picked her brain about the house and the history she shared was very interesting. We would love to come back in the summer months when everything is in full bloom!
Beautiful, old farmhouse just south of Madison. The kids absolutely loved the third floor "Kids Club" and the grown-ups loved exploring all of the little nooks and crannies and historic gems scattered around the house. The views were delightful and the whole family enjoyed hanging out on the spacious deck. Sarah was a fantastic host! The only downside for us was the proximity to the Town of Blue Mounds. Based on the pictures and the size of the property we were expecting the house to be very private and quiet, but we did end up hearing quite a bit of noise from some of the neighboring houses (e.g. Dogs barking, kids playing, fireworks late at night). All normal sounds, nothing over the top or terribly disruptive, just not quite what we were expecting. Overall though, it was a beautiful, peaceful stay. Highly recommend!
Brigham house is a fantastic home, it blends the historical elements of the original home with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The hose is filled with antiques from the family with a large collection of books from the previous owners. The beds were so comfortable! Our family enjoyed the top floor, plenty of room for 8 adults to hang out and watch a show. This space had its own air conditioner and it worked great ! The bedroom’s were big enough to fit portable cribs. We enjoyed the front porch in the morning and evening. It was peaceful, birds were chirping, the blue mounds were gorgeous and one evening we had a mama deer and her baby stroll through the front lawn. We really enjoyed the cave tour! Take advantage of that. My husband and I along with our four adult children, two daughters in law and babies had plenty of space and the house was a great memory for us. We were visiting Wisconsin for a funeral, so we didn’t get to spend as much time as we would normally have spent. But the time spent was relaxing and comfortable, it was nice to be able to go to a home, instead of sterile hotel room, at the end of the day. The house is located in a rural area, but there are little towns full of places to shop and eat. We recommend Fink’s!!!
