Manatee Bend is located on the main river of the amazingly clear waters of Weeki Wachee. Sitting right in the middle of all of the action that the river brings, watch the manatees or even a dolphin go by, you are surrounded by pure beauty. You are right around the bend from the famous hospital hole.

Picture yourself sitting at the seawall relaxing by the waterfront and watching the manatee’s go by or in the screened in porch. This is an ideal home for your next family retreat or a getaway with a group of friends. Bring your charcoal and your burgers and grill up your family’s favorite meal.

The Space

This ranch style split floor plan home has a great layout for two families or group of friends. Walk in the front door and you are greeted by the open living and dining room combo. This home has 3 bedrooms. You have 2 ensuite are on opposite sides of the home for added privacy. Your first Ensuite has a King size bed. The second ensuite has 2 queen beds. The 3rd bedroom space has a queen size bed. The living room also has a comfortable memory foam queen size sleeper sofa. Your fully stocked kitchen has everything that you will need to whip up your favorite dishes while overlooking the river. Your screened in porch will keep you comfortable with a second dining area and lounge area. The back yard that overlooks the main river will keep you entertained for days. You have stepped access into the river right from your back yard, making it easy to get in and out of a kayak. You will be sharing the access stairs into the water with the RV rental space next to the home.

We have 3 single and 2 double kayaks for your enjoyment. We have life jackets and whistles for you to use as well which is required to carry on your water vessels . You will also find a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal) and a river front wood fire pit for you to use.

The “Manatee Bend” has it all for you to enjoy days and days on the river.

**There is a private stationary RV that sleeps 6 next to the house available for rentals. Bring your friends. and family and enjoy the entire property**

Great house on best part of river

The house was clean and had everything we could have needed. The kitchen is beautiful with a breakfast nook that looks out to the water. The artificial grass was soft on everyone's feet. There were plenty of life jackets. The pictures of the house and river/yard don't do this spot justice. It's beautiful. If you have toddlers or young kids bring 2 handle covers because there's only door knob locks (the deadbolts lock with a key inside too) on the water side of the house. It's close to the park to go down and play on the playground and it's close to sandy places to play in the water. It was a great place and we all agreed we'd rent it again for sure!

Lovely Time at Manatee Bend

We had the loveliest time at this newly renovated property! The house is beautifully done and was perfect for us (family of 8). The owners were great communicators and very responsive to all questions and needs. The river is gorgeous. We were in it every day other than the one day it rained all day. Several members of our party kayaked to Hospital Hole (which is close) and saw a family of manatees. We didn't want to leave! Thank you!

Hello, we are the Houston’s – Jen, Kyle, Harper and McKenna. I’m originally from the middle of nowhere, just outside of Kansas City and Jen is originally from Baltimore. We spent 13 amazing years out in San Francisco and now call Tampa Bay our home.

Our family does everything together. We once drove our 36 foot RV from Disney Land to Disney World. Nothing is more important to us than the time we spend together as a family. That’s why we love opening up our condo to families just like yours. Knowing that we play a part in building lasting memories for families we may never meet, is a gift we can’t describe.
