About this property

Family-friendly home - A block to Hyrum Lake!

Relax with the whole family at our home year round!

If it's warm, bring the boat! With a circle drive and parking for a trailer, we're just steps away from Hyrum Reservoir. The large washer and dryer will help with all the towels including lots of space to rest after a day on the water.

If it's cold, bring the skis and snowboards! We're quick drives to Cherry Peak (40 mins) and Beaver Mountain (50 mins) Ski Resorts, and our hassle free fireplace makes it easy to warm up after a snow day!
The space
Our home is a completely renovated 4bd 2bath getaway. The kitchen is ready for everything from Barbequing a full rack of ribs and 100 baked potatoes, to microwave popcorn and instant ramen.

At the end of the day, Memory Foam Mattresses and Black-Out shades in every bedroom will ensure you get the best night's sleep.
Guest access
Large front of the house makes parking for the whole family super easy. The backyard includes a raised deck including a BBQ grill, a Fire Pit for roasting marshmallows and watching the stars, and a patio area for dinners or games outside. Inside the house you have access to the upper portion of the home.

While we decide on plans for Phase 2 of our renovation, we'll keep the unfinished basement closed and locked. We store cleaning supplies and touch up paint

The house was very roomy, lots of space to move around. The parking helped a lot because we had a trailer. It was a quiet neighborhood and good location. Devin was great to communicate and check to make sure everything was good.

We enjoyed everything about this stay! The house was very clean and easy to transition into. We really liked the location. It was the perfect in-between—not quite country, but far enough away from the typical townhouse and suburban setting to feel peaceful and spacious. We were close to everything we needed - a grocery store, a gas station, the reservoir, and Logan. We felt the nightly rate was a great value. We were just a little surprised by the total once the additional fees were included, as they nearly doubled the overall cost.”

Checkin was easy and consisted of getting the code from the host. Had a minor issue with the thermostat that was solved with new batteries. The place met the needs of our 8 person family and was in a quiet neighborhood. I could see us staying here again, especially given the proximity to Hyrum reservoir, about a block from the main entrance.

Pros: Cost effective for 6 adults. Clean, very clean. Washer and dryer onsite. Host is responsive when notified of an issue needing prompt attention and good communication throughout the process.Cons: Property is basic, no frills, a factory built/modular. Floors are terribly uneven and squeak (cannot walk at night without waking others). Piles of limbs and debris in the yard. Used furnace filters by the front steps. Toilet seat loose and toilet flushes on its own throughout the day and night. Needs general maintenance at the same level as the cleaning. Summary: It is a cost effective stay and it is clean.

Beautiful home with thoughtful decor and amenities. The fireplace was a nice touch, especially during our very rainy January stay. We loved the closet full of games, and the nice surprise of extra table space. The kitchen was well stocked, and we absolutely loved saying hi to the horses next door. Host was very prompt with responding to needs and questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great for our needs

We needed a house near Nibley with 4 bedrooms, and this house was perfect. We had plenty of room for everyone. The hosts were easy to contact and very friendly. Had it been summer, we would have loved being so close to the Hyrum Reservoir/State Park and would have used the fire pit. The beds were of good quality; however, we did notice that the master bed was creaky even with minimal movements.

Random Choice ends in Great Trip

This place was a random meeting location for 2 parties. With no experience innthe area, we were thrilled at the ease of getting to Hyrum State Park on foot. The location is on a corner lot with friendly neighbors. The local grocery store-Ridleys- was great with friendly and knowledgeable workers. This place is also just a short drive tonto Blacksmith River trail head and Bonneville Shoreline trail head.

Roomy getaway, bring your paddleboards

We had a great stay. We were in town for our daughter's wedding with the reception in Wellsville. It was a quick drive to the reception and also a little drive into Logan. We enjoyed with quiet peacefulness of the area. (We were glad that we didn't stay in Logan because of the traffic and the heat.) The home was a great place to rest and relax between activities. The beds were fantastic! My wife said she wants to get one of the mattresses in our guest room. We liked how close the house was to the Hyrum reservoir, we went paddle boarding the morning before the wedding. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay again in the future if we are up that way again. I almost forgot, did I mention the horses in the backyard (well, behind the backyard). It was fun just sitting and watching them do their horse things. Thanks!!!

Great property if you need a large number of bedrooms. House was very clean and was furnished with just about everything you need for a long term stay. Difficult to locate at night by Google Map directions and house number not visible on the mailbox.
