Royal Palm Cottage in the Heart of Olde Naples - Ideal Location - Walk to everything.

5 bedroom 4 bath Classic Coastal Beach cottage featured in the 2011 book 'Dreamhouses': Beach Homes & Cottages in Naples.

Located in the Historic District of Olde Naples just a short 2 block walk to Fifth Avenue shopping and dining. Enjoy outdoor cafes, art galleries, and theater. Short walk to Tin City Marina for waterfront dining on Naples Bay. Walk to gorgeous Gulf Beach(6 blocks). Cambier Park with children's playground and Arthur L. Allen championship public tennis center is across the street.

The large Key West style home is perfect for relaxed family gatherings with a spacious open floor plan: Living, Dining, Kitchen. The home has been beautifully renovated. Wonderful architectural details such as covered porches, vaulted ceilings, Miami-Dade hardwood floors and bead board. There are four crisp new modern baths. Beach home furnishings in blues and whites: whitewashed woods, rattan, cotton, sisal and other natural materials throughout.

Heated swimming pool and lounge area in the front, as well as a large outdoor dining area in the rear of the home with Weber gas grill provide private outdoor spaces.

Tennis available at Cambier Park with 12 har-tru lighted tennis courts

This property has the perfect combination of all that we were looking for as our families met together in Naples - a location very walkable to shops, restaurants and the beach, a home that accommodates several guests very comfortably, an outdoor area that offers a heated pool and patio dining, and a host that is most responsive and clearly committed to offering his guests a wonderful experience. The Perfect Old Naples House

Our family spent the Thanksgiving Holiday at Royal Palm. You can't find a better location...we walked and rode bikes all week and never drove our rental vehicle. The house was well equipped, extremely clean and had the most amazing heated pool. The owner was fabulous to work with and was accommodating with an early check-in. He also provided many recommendations for restaurants, baby rentals and markets. I would highly recommend renting this home...treat yourself to a wonderful vacation!

Amazing location with Plenty of Space with Great Owner and Property Manager

The house is perfect for a family or a few couples traveling together. we stayed for an entire month and enjoyed it so much. The caretaker/property manager was amazing. Provided weekly cleaning (for a fee) and the location can not be beat. You are 10-15 walk from over 60 restaurants. yet the street is really quiet in the afternoon and evening. It is next to a school which was fun at Recess. We would strongly recommend this house.

The house was well appointed and updated. There were plenty of towels, pillows, beach umbrellas, and it had a fully stocked set of kitchen amenities. We loved the location and the privacy of the property. If I had to find negative for informational purposes, it would be that it is hard to control the noise due to the slat doors throughout the house.

Wonderful Old Naples House

We enjoyed a very nice stay with our family of 6. The house was charming Old Naples Florida and in a great location near the beach and 5th Ave and 3rd St. shops and restaurants. The property owner, James, was an excellent host. He was very accommodating and responsive - even replacing the clothes dryer in no time at all! We recommend staying here.

Royal Palms Cottage Rocks!

We spent 10 days at the Royal Palms Cottage and we had the best vacation we've had in a long time!!!! The property is immaculate, the centrality of it is superb, walking distance to beach and to the 5th Ave shops and restaurants. The checking process was so painless. Our five grown kids and their spouses and children stayed with us and loved it. Could not have asked for a better experience. Jim was always great to work with. It was definitely a memory maker for my wife and I. Thank you.

We are originally from New Jersey and over the years have come to spend more and more time in Naples and have now recently become full time residents. We are delighted to be here.

Why they chose this property

We admired this home for many years and believe that it represents the best character of Old Naples' landmark cottages. The original 1940 cottage was damaged and swept several blocks away during hurricane Donna in 1960. In 1992 a local builder and craftsman relocated the original cottage to its current site and expanded its' size dramatically. The home has original details and workmanship including Miami-Dade pine flooring and covered wrap around porches. It has been meticulously restored and improved resulting in a quality home.


What makes this property unique

The location allows guests to walk to the beach( 6 blocks), local activities,art shows and events at Cambier Park as well as dining and shopping on Naples Fifth Avenue 2 blocks away. Championship Tennis and playground are nearby at Cambier Park.
