Experience Lake Michigan like you never have before at this quaint cabin tucked in the woods on miles of pristine Lake Michigan. Imagine waking up in the morning to the sound of Lake Michigan, the call of birds, fresh, clean air... ahh, the good life. Good Morning Arcadia is small but offers cozy lodging. Very quiet and private location. Due to high water levels, shoreline is not guaranteed. Lake access stairs on the north side of the property.


One flight of stairs up to the main level of the house. Faces west for breathtaking sunsets. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Allows up to 5 people.

Both bedrooms have queen beds. (1 new Queen added in 2022) One air mattress. Full kitchen (no dishwasher). One of the bedrooms boasts a sliding door to the deck for great views and the sound of the lake. Cable HD flat panel TV/DVD/WIFI. Washer/dryer in the lower-level laundry room. If the weather is a little too warm, there are fans in each room. Typically, the breeze off Lake Michigan can keep you cool and comfortable.

Big deck off the living room with stunning views of the lake. Due to changing water levels and shoreline disruption, water access may not be available in 2022. Enjoy outdoor grilling on the charcoal grill.

The sunsets here are amazing and not to be missed. Night skies are breathtaking. If you love golf, Arcadia Bluffs is just 3.5 miles away. Nature trails, dunes, and an amazing scenic overlook are also close. Make sure to explore the quaint towns of Arcadia, Frankfort, and Onekama. Manistee is 23 miles away. Arcadia Beach and Veterans Memorial are just minutes from the cottage. It is a beautiful drive north on M-22 to reach the Baldy Dunes or Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Saturday-Saturday weekly rentals in the prime summer months. Short stays are considered in the shoulder seasons. Pets allowed (2 dogs maximum).

Check out great hiking and some mountain biking trails at Overlook Trail, Baldy Trail, Pete's Woods, Chestnut Trail, and Dry Hill Trail.

Beautiful sunsets

We have stayed at this property in the past. It is clean and very comfortable. We enjoy the wrap around deck and the fire pit. The only improvements could be new furniture on the deck. The one chair was ripped completely thru. Also, needs a new shower curtain. Was very moldy. The beds are so very comfortable. Again, was very clean. We will be back again.

The house was perfect the pictures were spot on, and the view was incredible. The cabin was nostalgic and charming. Everything looks better in person. The only complaint is the bed in one of the rooms is extremely hard but I think some people like that. Very clean and I would definitely return and keep it on my short list.

Reviewer Comments: Good Morning Arcadia is a sweet little cottage in the perfect location to enjoy short beach walks, relaxing, and stunning sunsets. There are also plenty of good trails nearby for hiking. It is generally quite and private, although this year ATVs marred the quite a few times. What you get in location, you sacrifice in aesthetics of the cottage. It is old and run down and, unfortunately, a little dirty. The kitchen is not stocked adequately so visitors might want to bring their own pots and pans for cooking. The surface of non-stick pans are flaking off and will get in the food you cook and eat. Wi-Fi is spotty. We could not get the television to work, which was okay because it was good to escape TV for a while!

It is small, it may even be a bit funky, but to us it’s perfect. Good for 3, great for 2, too small for four, this mid-century box on stilts, with many original features has the most amazing views. Wake up to the lake l, go to sleep under the stars. The lake MI views are just breathtaking. And the beach is great too. It’s comfortable and has all you need in a quaint, comfy space.
