This home is absolutely charming! Although we weren’t able to take full advantage of all the amenities due to some much-needed rain in Grand Junction (which left the yard and outdoor furniture soaked) and unexpected I-70 traffic delays, we still had a great stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but I did check it out and the water was crystal clear - I’m sure it would have been a hit!We did get to enjoy our morning coffee in the sunshine, and the outdoor space is truly lovely and well thought out. There’s plenty of seating, a nice fenced-in area perfect for kids or a game of cornhole, and a shaded spot with a table and bench seating. There’s even a ramp leading to the backyard, though it’s a bit on the steep side.Inside, the house is beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of Southwest style and fun vintage touches that really complement the era of the home. Every room is thoughtfully styled with unique art, lighting, and furniture - it’s clear a lot of care went into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We loved the selection of board games in the living room and the chess board in the foyer, already set up for play. All the beds were very comfortable - we all slept well. It was a bit warm (we stayed over the 4th of July), but once we figured out how to use the swamp cooler, the temperature was just fine.We would definitely stay here again!
