Lakeside Studio Cottage with Lake Access and Dock

Listen to the loons call from this lakefront studio guest cottage on the shores of Lake St. George, one of the last pristine lakes in Maine. Enjoy amazing fishing year round (salmon, big/small mouth bass and brook trout), kayaking and swimming. Leaf peepers, don't miss the vibrant colors on the lake. The cottage is heated year round.


Lake St. George Retreat provides everything for lakeside fun. On the 1,000 acre Lake St. George you can swim, fish, kayak, boat and watch the sun set while enjoying a campfire roasting marshmallows in the warm evening breeze. Explore nearby camp roads for strolling. Local restaurants, brew pubs and homemade ice cream are just minutes away, and don't forget to pop into the world renowned "Liberty Tool" which has something for everyone! Liberty is also home to Liberty Graphics, a nationally distributed t-shirt company.


A short 20 to 40 minute trip will take you to the Midcoast Region to a number of coastal towns such as Belfast, Lincolnville, Camden, Rockport and Rockland for dining, shopping and sightseeing. Camden is known for Windjammer days (tall masted ships), Mount Battie State Park and seaside dining and shopping. Rockland hosts an annual Lobster Festival and Jazz Festival along with varied dining and shopping establishments, many locally owned. Unity is just a short trip to the M.O.F.G.A. Common Ground Fair in September. It's a quick 1.5 hour trip to Bar Harbor, home of Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain.


The cottage is located in a small secluded area of the lake where you enjoy your own private dock for kayaking and swimming or just soaking up the sun. There is a picnic table, fire pit and gas grill for cooking (there is NO STOVE in the cottage). There is an Apt. size refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, toaster, microwave and blender. Fully stocked kitchen includes, flatware, dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. There is a living room area, a double bed area, a dining area all within one large room and a 3/4 bath which includes a walk in shower.
