Beautiful, southern, ocean front beach house with spacious, classic layout. Located on the Ocean on Ponte Vedra Blvd on the largest lot in Ponte Vedra Beach! This unique home is on a one of a kind, private lot with picturesque views of sand dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. View this from either the upstairs or downstairs covered porches. Then enjoy the sunset from the two story screen porch with fireplace overlooking the garden side pool with beautiful fountain.

This house is a great for a large family get away or quiet beach vacation.
--There are 6 separate bedrooms all with their own private bathrooms. (3 Kings, 1 Queen, 4 Twins, with plenty of room for additional air mattress or baby beds, if needed)
--There are 2 separate Living Rooms. One upstairs and one downstairs with large wood burning fireplaces and large sliding glass doors to the covered porches that overlook the ocean.
-- There are 2 wetbars, one in each living room, as well as new, large flatscreen TVs w/ DVD players. Small fridge in upstairs bar.
-- Kitchen has all new appliances, sink and countertops!
-- Enjoy meals in the Dinning Room which has beautiful sand dune and ocean views. Or eat outside on the porch on the large picnic table which is great for cookouts and a handful of children still in their wet bathing suits!
-- Beautiful, private in-ground pool with unique fountain centerpiece surrounded by a beautiful garden of flowers and palm trees. Great shallow section for children!
-- 2 Car Garage stocked with beach chairs,boogie boards, sand toys, bikes, kayaks!!!
Pool area/ Outside Porch have chaise lounges,dining tables, ping pong table, and foosball table.
-- Great Fishing right off the beach!

Exterior Cameras: Surveillance cameras are EXTERIOR facing and are utilized to protect our property as well as to provide additional security for our guests. There are 4 cameras, 1 on the patio facing the ocean, 1 in front of the garage facing the driveway, 1 in the back area facing the pool and 1 in the pool area facing toward the pool.

Very home like beach atmosphere. It was like staying at family home. Like a relatives house. The decor was so beachy and the view impecable. Owner was very accomadating and easy to contact. Overall experience was amazing. We hope to go back over and over again if time and money allow.

Three generation family vacation

This is a unique property, thanks to the natural dune formations on both the north and south sides of the house and the landscaping on the west side. The home has a feeling of seclusion and privacy - a rare find in a beach rental. We were a large group of grandparents, parents and children, so we especially appreciated how easy it was to find a favorite place during the afternoon thunderstorm. Grandparents could enjoy the upstairs porch in quiet while the children played ping pong on the west side screen porch. The house is decorated with hand painted ceramics, interesting framed photography, and original paintings that make it a classic one of a kind. It has not been updated, which was fine by us, but may not suit some. The sea kayaks were great! There was a manta ray to watch and tag after most every first low tide of the day. And dolphins, and even manatees. Our family, all three generations, enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Rhyne!

Older expansive beach house property

Wonderful location. Expansive facility with many common areas. It is an older property with "character" and perhaps some would say that it would benefit if there were to be some modern updates. All in all, a great private location on the beach. Our stay was in early January, so it was a little too cool to take full advantage of the beach and pool.

Family Thanksgiving

We had an amazing time all being under one roof for the holiday. The weather did not cooperate so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted to but the house was big enough to gather indoors and enjoy each other.

Beach Nirvana or Paradise Found (Your Choice!)

This was our second year spending time at the Cannon Home. A beautiful old Florida estate that had everything we needed for our multi generational group. Plenty of high chairs, pack and plays, comfortable beds, games, tvs, beach toys, pool floats, beach chairs, kayaks, boogie boards, …. Incredible back porch overlooking the ocean with lots of relaxing rocking chairs and a huge picnic table for outdoor dining. The pool was fantastic with a fountain you won’t believe…really gorgeous. Nice shallow area for the little kids to play in too. The beach was five star fantastic! It was like we had our own private beach and we were even there over a holiday weekend! We found a lot of sharks teeth…but did leave some for the rest of you! TVs all worked and we watch the US Open and college football. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, bowls, Tupperware…everything. The owner Rhyne, is an artist who makes pieces of pottery that are absolutely beautiful. There are pieces of her work all through out this comfortable home. We loved our stay and look forward to the next time we can return to Beach Nirvana.

Great property- as advertised. Plenty of room for a large family as the house is very comfortable and well stocked. The beach is big and wide with plenty of privacy! The owner is very engaged and gracious. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Great beach house

This is a wonderful old beach house with fabulous views of the ocean!!! It is very tastefully decorated. It was perfect for our family of 11. There is plenty of room to spread out and there are plenty of beds. We love being able to stay at a house that is right on the beach. There is a beautiful pool as well. We had a wonderful time at our favorite place to vacation!

Family Vacation

The house fit us perfectly inside and out. Rhyne was a great host. Plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed. The beach was very private along with the beautiful lot. Rhyne has quite a green thumb the garden around the pool is awesome. The porches were a great gathering place for everyone.

Great 40th Birthday Weekend at the Cannon House

Great overall experience. Rhyne and his teach were easy to work with and went out of the way to make sure we had a terrific experience. This property also is terrific with tons of game, kayaks, and other things to do. It’s also situated on a quiet portion of Ponte Vedra beach and nestled in between trees given you the feeling of your own private beach!

Privacy, beach and a glimpse of gracious era

The location of this idyllic home is perfect. Beach, porches and views. What is not apparent from the reviews and pictures is the uniqueness of the topography of this home. As you tootle along Ponte Vedra Boulevard, past bloated moorish castles built in the 80’s, you stop at a scruffy white fence with wild roses. No palace gates. The property is deep and wide with abundant trees and two large mounds that protect the house from wind and provide incredible privacy from walkers on the beach and neighbors. When you lounge on the upper porch you see nature and ocean. It is incredible. Our party of 11 left only to walk the beach and replenish wine and food for 12 days. The house has endured many decades of guests with ease. I like to think we experienced Florida as folks did in a slower, more civilized world. Cheers

Great stay to a great weekend that Rhyne's house was the lynchpin!

Rhyne was a great host. Being an VRBO host for years, I thought she checked all the boxes to be a fabulous host. She communicated very well and just enough. The check-in process was smooth and smooth. The house is a great spot to gather quite a few friends and really enjoy the Atlantic and beach living.

Great for Groups

This house was a perfect fit for our group of 12 (four couples and four teens). Everyone had their own bed and bathroom. The location on the beach was private but close to everything we needed. The house is historic with plenty of old Florida charm, plus all the creature comforts you will need for a good time. The owner was a good communicator. We loved it!

Awesome Beach Home

We loved this place! Wonderful private beach and pool. Most of our time was spent outdoors. Huge porches on both sides of house. Plenty of room to spread out. With living rooms on both levels. There were 12 of us. Eight adults and four children under 5. The owner was awesome and very helpful in making sure we had what we needed to include pack ‘n plays and high chairs. This home is classic Old Florida style with terrazzo flooring on the ground floor, wood floors upstairs and an amazing antique pool fountain. A lot of personal touches make this a home, not just a vacation rental. We really enjoyed our stay.

There is great fishing right off the beach. Easy access to go up and down from the beach and house. You are away from the crowds but just a quick trip to the beach clubs for unlimited activities.
