Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely home with all the amenities. The property is secluded and quiet, but a short drive to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and Bass Harbor. We loved having a private dock, canoe, and kayaks to explore the cove. And star-filled nights around the campfire were a great way to end the day.
Great stay at Alex’s place. It met all our needs and then some. Close to Acadia and restaurants. Wonderful views of lake and a quiet peaceful place. Loved hearing the loons calling in the morning. Would highly recommend his place to anyone visiting the area. 5 stars for sure!!!!
Amazing property - super clean and comfortable. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. The lake views and fishing off the dock for the kids made evenings so enjoyable! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful slice of MDI.
What a beautiful house and property! Everything was just as pictured, the rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated. The lake was absolutely amazing for kayaking. Absolutely loved everything about this trip.
This was our second time staying at this amazing property! It was spacious to accommodate my husband, our two adult kids, and me. The property is beautiful. We took advantage of getting out on the lake this time with the kayaks and canoe that Alex provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishware, pots, and pans. Plenty of linens were available. The views are second to none. With access to Town, a short drive away, we enjoyed the best of both worlds. I enjoyed many a morning with my cup of tea and a good book, with a beautiful view of the lake.Thank you again, Alex! We’ll be back.
Beautiful place to stay. Our family enjoyed the quiet side of the island. The house was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay there again.
Fantastic and relaxing stay by the lake. Enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and bocce ball playing, etc. Beautiful lake side get-away for families. Alex is super communicative.
Well stocked kitchen including lobster pot, picks, and bowls! Beautiful lake view. Comfy beds and great family room for playing games. We enjoyed bocce ball, grilling on the deck, and loved the quiet location, close to Bass Harbor.
We've stayed at several places on the "Quiet Side," and this is our favorite--lovely views from the living room and deck, very comfortable house with a well-equipped kitchen. We had a relaxing stay.
This house was in a great area, short drive to most anything you want to do. Peaceful with awesome views. Super clean and plenty of room for everyone. Absolutely loved it and would stay here again!
