If you're looking for a quiet and private place to enjoy time with friends or family, this is the perfect spot. With stunning views and a secluded location, you can fully experience a private getaway. We truly loved this place!
Stayed here on night 2 of our bike tour. Really nice house. It rained so didn't get a chance to take advantage of the stuff outside but still an awesome stay and property.
A house which our guests could not access in their cars. Steep driveway with loose gravel.
This house was rented for five older family members for a family reunion. The house was not assessible by their cars, a Mazda and Honda Fit. As we were given the password there was a sentence that cars needed to use extra speed to come up a steep gravel driveway. The extra speed did not help our drivers. The guests had to retreat and ask for shuttle services back and forth for the weekend. This required two trips each morning and evening. The situation caused them distress as they were not able to be independent and come and go as they wished. This was also burden for the guest with a larger 4 wheel SUV. The SUV driver said the driveway was "tricky" even for him. This was not an unusual event according to a neighbor who was observing.
In addition there was another problem. After initially renting three days, we requested a fourth to accommodate a relative with medical issues. It was granted and then cancelled the week of our event. The billing continued to show on VRBO as did the 4th day. Only now, days after the event, is the billing being corrected and with a small discount for our inconvenience
On the positive side, our guests said the house has a great view and was nicely appointed. The frustration and stress caused by the driveway and the cancellation of the 4th day, created a poor experience.
