Great location!

Location was fantastic! Communication with owner/property manager was seamless; recommendations for places to eat and activities in area were spot on as well! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Classic Pawleys Beach House

We enjoyed our stay! Prime location at the North end of the island. The home is a quick walk to the beach and a stones throw to the creek. The home is very cozy and welcoming.

Pawley’s Holiday Stay

The house was absolutely perfect for our family to stay at for a long weekend! Amazing proximity to the beach and to all things we needed off the island. Great space for a group with kids (the toy basket was a nice added touch) - we would absolutely rent again in the future! Thank you, Anna!

Overall good experience. Finding the key was bit of a challenge initially. I was looking for a key pad type situation. Friends said not enough supplies like paper towels, needed better cookware etc., little things like that, so nothing major.

Perfect Location!

Our stay at Gardenia for spring break was exactly what we needed. The house was clean, comfortable and very well-appointed. The kids loved the ping pong table on the ground floor! Although not directly on the water, the house was truly just steps away from the public beach access (which felt more like a private beach). We used local company Seaside Chairs & Umbrella to set up a tent and chairs each morning and I highly recommend them - it was such a relief to crest the dune each day and see our chairs already there, so we could start our beach day right away. It was a wonderful trip, and we would absolutely come back for another stay.

Refreshing Stay

It was so nice to walk into a clean house, with fresh linens and towels, cleaning essentials, working lights, and all the other things that the big realty companies on Pawleys do not offer or even attempt to. The best surprise was the downstairs--we did not use it, but we walked through and quickly saw that it was not only livable, but just as nice and clean as the upstairs rooms! Hardwood floors, nice beds and linens, and clean surfaces--not a bug or infamous palmetto bug in sight!! We sure hope to return--thank you Anna.

When we arrived at the property, we found that it had been double booked. I reached out first to the property manager, then to the owner. We were able to secure a second location, but zero out of ten stars. Would not recommend.

Comfortable house in a great location on Pawleys

We had a wonderful 5 day stay this Fall and loved this property. The bedrooms are comfortable, nice living room area and spacious kitchen. Our favorite part of the house was the large screened in side porch -- we spent mornings reading, drinking coffee and enjoying the hammock. The beach access is a short walk, right across the street. Highly recommend -- we hope to return back next year!

Great beach getaway

Our first trip to Pawley's Island and we loved it and will certainly be back. The rental was just as described with plenty of comfortable beds & areas to sit and gather for our family of 6. I loved the screened in 2nd floor patio that we enjoyed every night playing board games. The beach is a very short walk and I loved the family friendly atmosphere of the beach. Great location for our family

We really enjoyed this vacation house. It was located between the inlet and the beach on the less trafficked northern end of the island - easy walk to both. The house had a classic Pawley's Island/old beach town feel to it. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our own meals.

Perfect Location - across the street from beach access

Older beach house but the house was very clean great parking. Linens & towels provided. Loved the location. The stovetop was shattered, few of the steps need to be replaced & maybe a few boards on upper level porch. Minor fixes didn’t affect the awesome location. Only complaint was contractors that cut grass showed up out first morning on sat at 7:30 - dropped trailer ramp, pushed mower between our trucks to reach small grassy area, cut grass around our trucks & came up on porches with leaf blower (even upper level at entrance):

Lovely experience!

We absolutely enjoyed our week at Gardenia House on Pawley's Island! The house was clean and comfortable. Beach access was only 50 feet away from the door. The screened in wrap around porch was a lifesaver for my 5 year old grand-daughter to run around without needing an adult to watch her every step! Even with 6 adults and 2 children there was plenty of space to eat and be together but also get out of the melee if necessary!

Great Weekend Getaway

The property was accurately described and met and even exceeded our expectations. It is roomy enough for a large group but still had that classic cozy Pawleys Island charm. You can see the inlet from the front porch and the beach access is only a 2 minute walk and on the same road - very convenient! Would recommend this rental to friends and would absolutely stay here again!

I've been coming to Pawleys Island ever since I was a child and have a deep connection to the area. My husband and I purchased this beach house after getting married at Brookgreen Gardens and enjoy sharing our home with both new and seasoned Pawleys Island visitors.

Why they chose this property

Perfectly placed between the beach and the creek, this home has been lovingly owned by the same family for 60 years before we purchased it in 2013. The home is the perfect blend of traditional Pawleys Island and modern comforts and updates. It is perfect for one or two families or up to four couples.

What makes this property unique

This home is so close to the beach you can walk right across and be on the sand in 150 steps. With long covered porches, the home is perfect for lounging on the hammock in the shade and enjoying the sea breeze while surrounded by palm trees from the large yard. It is also perfectly suited for children as I have four who love it here!
