We came in to spectate for the half Ironman and this place was perfectly located. It was only a few blocks from the finish line. Walkable to restaurants and entertainment and a straight shot to the beach. We would have preferred a larger bed, but the pull-out couch was comfortable enough. We would stay here again for sure.

The Butterfly Cottage was perfect for our mini trip to Wilmington. The cottage is spotless and had everything we needed for our stay with our dogs. It’s walkable to downtown, and close enough for a beach day, too. We would definitely stay there again. Please stock more regular (not decaf) coffee pods for next time!

This was our second time staying - it’s very clean and perfect for a couple. The kitchen has everything we need to make meals. The bed is comfortable and there are lots of extras to make your stay more enjoyable. Communication with the host was perfect.

This property looked perfect for us when we were looking where to stay for few days, and it was such in reality.! Super clean, very cozy, located in historic district, close to all the interesting places in Wilmington.The hosts are very considerate, you have everything available from dog treats to beach chairs, from air purifier to dog towels.My only wish was for the weather to be better, but in the middle of the day when it was too hot to explore the city we had board games to play.We are very happy with this booking and next time we decide to come to Wilmington I know where we will stay for sure.

Perfect getaway! Being able to travel to the beach with dogs makes for a wonderful weekend. Quiet neighborhood with lots of places to walk the dogs, quick access to the beach and a variety of restaurants and sites to see. Highly recommend!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. Our hosts Bobby and Wayne thought of every little detail when setting up the apartment for guests and it shows! The unit was clean, well organized, and very comfortable. The location is great for a walk downtown and perfect for a dog friendly stay. Everything was perfect and the hosts were lovely to talk to when we saw them. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend their cozy little apartment.

The Butterfly Hideaway was a perfect place to stay for exploring the Wilmington area. The hosts Bobby and Wayne created the quintessential rental. It was outfitted with absolutely everything you need and more. Very thoughtfully designed and equipped!
