Enjoy the casual, laid back atmosphere of San Clemente. One of the last original California surfer towns. Relax and enjoy ocean view from your living room, main bedroom, kitchen or deck. Walk 4 minutes to the ocean and beach trail. Walk 15 minutes to the pier and Amtrak! Walk 8 minutes and you are at the Metrolink, bike rentals, more restaurants and the Ole Hansen Beach Club.
This home offers 2 bedrooms with one king bed and one queen. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is an outdoor shower and patio. The ping pong table, foosball and beach toys are in the garage. Washer and dryer are available in the garage. Cotton bedding, beach towels, 55' smart television and wifi are available. Everything is maintained in new condition. All the amenities for beach fun...umbrellas, boogie boards, surf boards, wagons, beach chairs and coolers. The kitchen has gas range, refrigerator, microwave/airfryer, garbage disposal and all the necessities.. A gas barbecue is provided on the deck. The living room has a gas fireplace and water view. This home offers 850 square feet of light, bright, happy living space with a short walk to everything!
Walk to ocean, hiking trail, pier, sand volley ball, Linda Lane Park, the train or downtown. Take the train to San Diego, Del Mar or LA. Its a short hop to Dana Point for jet skiing, boating excursions, whale watching and deep sea fishing...or cruise to Catalina Island for the day. Park your car in and forget everything! If you should slip into shopping shock, Newport Beach's Fashion Island is a hop away or Laguna Beach for the art lovers.
This property is a duplex. The lower unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with Travertine-like flooring throughout, new stainless appliances, gas log fireplace, 55' smart TV with sound bar and wifi. The back bedroom has queen Murphy bed, mini frig and microwave. Great for larger groups or two families who want their own space but together. We enjoyed our one week stay! The unit was very clean and comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is well stocked and appliances new. We easily walked to everything. The restaurants are great and the coastal trail is very enjoyable to walk on. The host was a good communicator even though we never had any issue.

Great beach stay

Excellent condo, nice view and patio, close to shopping and beach. Had all we needed including shared washer/dryer for post-beach, beach gear, coffee, nice dishes, bedding, towels, and shower water pressure. We hope to return!

This was our third visit to San Clemente and the first in a rental property, this property is perfect in every way. Everything is supplied that you could possibly need. The host, Diane, is extremely helpful and responds to any queries quickly. The property is in easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach making it a great base for stays in San Clemente as well as for trips to San Diego, LA, Anaheim, etc. Hopefully we'll be back here in the near future.

VRBO stay san clemente

We had a very nice stay. The house was very close to the beach and the property came equipt with tons of beach activities (body boards, surf boards, coolers, games, etc.). Also there are ping pong and fooseball tables in the garage, very fun!. The unit looked newly remodeled, kitchen and bathroom are very nice and modern! Our host Diane was very nice and checked in often! All in all, we'll definitely try to stay again when we return to the area!

Great stay!

We were at this lovely property for 2weeks while we had some remodeling on our house. The property was very clean and had all of the necessities. Diane was very responsive and checked in often. We enjoyed having the very short walk to the beach and being so close to town. We would definitely come back if the need would arise.

Very nice property and location

My family really enjoyed our stay. Good communication and easy check-in and the location was very good. Off street parking was nice. Close to beach and beach trail, and just a short walk to Del Mar for food and shopping. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Great place.... right near the beach!!

We were beyond impressed with this rental in San Clemente. Being beach lovers, we enjoyed staying so close to the shore, with restaurants and shops in walking distance. Diane is so helpful, thoughtful, and extremely organized... there’s no way you can go wrong!

Perfect spot

Great place for our family of 4 that was in town visiting extended family. The kids loved the ping pong tables and all the beach toys! It’s in a great location easily walkable to the beach or to shopping/restaurants. Lots of little touches/amenities that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Diane is great, and we hope to stay here next time we’re in town!

Surf house

Rented this place for a week for a surf trip. Worked out well, was close to downtown and lots of restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to the pier and a close drive to other surf spots.

Home away from home.

Everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway is waiting for you, just bring your suit. Shopping and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute drive. We had a wonderful stay and would stay there again. Thanks Diane !!

Walk to the Beach

Clean and well equipped inside and out. We used the beach gear. The location makes it easy to walk to the beach without having to deal with parking. The home had everything we needed and was super comfortable.

Gem of a place!

We loved our stay at this beach house. We had the chance to meet Diane, the owner, upon our arrival, and she was a gracious host from the very beginning. The house is beautiful. clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed. We loved the quick watch to the beach and access to the boogie boards, beach wagon, and beach chairs. This place is a gem and we can't wait to come back next year.

Nice place close to beach.

Overall a great spot and good for a family. Close to beach and nice ocean views from the 2nd floor deck. Clean and quiet. TV channel selection was pretty limited but that only mattered at night and was only a minor drawback.

Perfect!

Perfect location, ocean view on the balcony starts your day and gives a place to relax in the sun. The property has many amenities not always common. It was so easy to get around and close to everything! I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation!

This property is well appointed. Great big screen, washer and dryer. Kitchenette and comfortable beds. The wrap around porch is up high with a partial ocean view. Can’t go wrong in San Clemente. Diane a delightful hostess!

We currently live in Orange County and are both transplants from the east. We have been going to San Clemente for 30 years and took our children there when they were young. We are thrilled to have a property here and look forward to many years of good times there with friends and family. We hope you will share our feelings!

Why they chose this property

We love this property because it is so close to the water and the trail. We love going to Fisherman's for the sunset and happy hour! After their chicken with beans and coleslaw, there is no need to cook dinner! We also love Nick's just about any time and Velvet Yogurt (Happy Hour 3-5 on Mon. and Fri.). This is a friendly town with many unique shops and restaurants. I often feel like I have stepped back in time when I am here...

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this property because the possibilities are endless. It suits both young and old. When children visit it is a short walk to Linda Lane Park. They can take the train to the San Diego Zoo. We can ride beach bikes on the trail and meet friends for lunch in Laguna or Dana Point. We can walk to the train and go to San Diego or spend the day at the races in Del Mar. We can take the train to LA. Most desirable to me is walking to the sand and listing to the waves with my morning coffee. I love sitting in front of the fireplace with an ocean view and knowing that all these activities are available when I feel like them.
