Our group had a wonderful stay. A perfect location to launch a boat & enjoy being on the water. Being able to park your boat in a slip onsite , hit the swimming pool afterwards- a great combination. Also, the security of a gated community is a plus. Very timely responses to all of our questions.
Have stayed in other properties in this gated community. Location is perfect for fishing the flats and swimming in the springs. The negatives are… no outside fish cleaning station, community landscaping is not kept up, lots of construction going on. Inside the home the furniture in living room was so uncomfortable.had a few items that need to be fixed door hinges, light bulbs were out in living room. Did not affect our stay but looks like they have not been addressed for awhile. Really feel the hoa needs to address outside grounds. Needs some upkeep
The location is excellent—having a boat ramp on-site is a huge perk and made our stay much more convenient. The house itself has a great layout and is a good fit for a small family, but it’s definitely in need of some basic maintenance and attention.Several things felt worn down or neglected. For example, the upstairs shared bathroom door drags loudly across the floor due to loose hinges, the downstairs toilet ran constantly, and the back door only locks if you hold it just right. Many light bulbs were dim or burnt out, and the kitchen was missing some essentials—like a working can opener. The living room furniture was also quite uncomfortable, and the laundry area in particular felt less than clean.None of these things ruined the trip, but they added up. It feels like the house has been a rental for a long time and just needs a refresh. That said, the property manager was extremely friendly and responsive, which we appreciated. With a bit of TLC, this place could be a real gem.

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
Great location. House did not impress.
House was filthy upon arrival: including dirty clothes in the master, open half-full drink cans on the kitchen counters, sugar and salt covering the counters, filthy floors that left our feet black after walking around the home for ten minutes. The front door handle was broken, causing sticking and making the front door nearly unusable. Two toilets had leaks, and had to be repaired during our stay. We were given the wrong code for check-in so could not get into the home upon arrival. The PM was responsive (within 15 minutes each time) and did have someone come clean the home Day 2 of our trip - took them nearly 10 hours because it was so dirty. While this was helpful, the initial condition was unsettling. We were not told about the construction in the community and directly next door, where workers can see into the home at all times of day and the noise begins at 6:00 am. Be prepared for the following - very old and minimal cookware and utensils. Master bedroom television has no cable, hookups or remotes - bring a smart device if you plan to use it. Most slips do not have power available, make sure to ask in advance. We have stayed in other homes in this community with different PMs and owners, and have never run into such issues. Only PRO for this trip - great location.
