Very beautiful modern House in the woods. Totally furbished. Very big rooms, Baseboard heating , Linen and Towels provided. Very well equipped kitchen, private whirlpool , Sommer use of hotub only, June to September. No winter use, as the water pipes of the hot tub are frozen , outdoor inflatable pool. Very calm and secluded lots of animals. Beautiful view overlooking private pond. Game room for children with air hockey and ping-pong table. Living area all hardwood floor. Luxury set up, genuine leather sofas. Lake access is 400 yards from the house.. A Canoe and 2 Kayaks and a peddalo are at your disposal for free for the Lake. 4 bycicles for use. A place to enjoy tranquility and nature, not a place to watch TV. Lots of outdoor possibilities, 300 acres of private land with hiking path, beaver pond. Yet very close to town and shopping. 10 miles to town, 50 miles to Acadia National park and the sea shore. Lots of restaurants, Golf courses, Mini Golf, Go-cart track near by. This house sleeps 8, there is also a separate apartment above the garage 180 yards from the house which sleeps 4 at additional costs, so a total of 12 people is possible The garage and appartment can not be seen from the House, too many trees, must be booked seperately as it is also listed seperately. We loved staying in this beautiful house. The property is large and peaceful and while it feels very remote it is not that far from the larger roads that bring you into Orono and Bangor. The house is a great layout for a group with comfortable living room, deck and balcony, all beds used were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommend this rental.

Very nice property, the hot tub in its own shack was super cool as well! The pond has a bunch of fish and a snapping turtle that ate hotdogs, very fun! You can see the stars amazing from the backyard

Enjoyed our stay

We had a nice time here; we were in town for a family reunion. Kids loved the activities (yard games, hot tub, pool table, and air hockey). It was a little tricky to find at first but we figured it out. Some of us didn't have great cell service, but that was true across much of the state.

This was our second time staying here. The place is clean, well equipped and has comfortable beds. The yard is great. Secluded with lots of wildlife and a great hot tub. Andre made sure we had everything that we needed. We also rented the apartment which was nice. I would highly recommend staying here

Lovely home in a great spot! Convenient to UMaine.

We visited for the long weekend and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The house is perfect for a family. Two huge bedrooms upstairs with king beds and two rooms each with two twin beds in the basement. The living area is comfortable and the yard and pond are lovely. We didn’t see a moose or porcupine, but we did see some deer. Everyone wants to go back for another visit!

Family Getaway

Upon arrival, we received a tour of the rental from Andrea. He was just a text message away and friendly/responsive to any questions we had. The rental is nicer than the vrbo photos portray. Cozy home in the woods, no sounds of the highway - just nature. Also, just a short 5-10 min walk to the lake and a 20 min drive into town for groceries. We can't wait to go back!

I lived many years in Europe and this is my place in the maine woods. It reminds me so much of Germany/France with the many lakes and forests only that there is much more nature and animals here in Maine. Paradise for me.

Why they chose this property

Because I fell in love with it. It is in the woods but only 20 minutes from the big shopping centers or the airport. The people who live year round there are very nice and helpful. And the House is very beautifull.

What makes this property unique

The air is so pure and the water is so clean and the people are so friendly. I have traveled the whole world, but this is home away from home, just perfect and beautiful. Take a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the pond, watching the deer passing by, what more can you ask for.
