We had a great time. The home had everything you could possibly need. Check in was incredibly easy. The host, Nick, provided us with all of the information we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

Home away from home

This was a comfortable place to hang out while we were in town and much nicer for our family then trying to stay in one hotel room! Location provided convenient access to our activities in town too!

We had a wonderful stay. My kids are still talking about the "toy house" that had an air hockey table in the basement. We loved the huge yard and would highly recommend this location.

Check in was simple, kitchen had everything we needed besides something to clean the grill with, which maybe we just overlooked. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Main bedroom/bathroom was perfect for us. Sauna was a nice amenity! Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels.

Quiet play to stay while visiting family in Cedar Falls

Convenient location to Waterloo/Cedar Falls. Nice alternative to hotel. We visited family in nearby Cedar Falls, went to local parks, the Cedar Valley Arboretum and the Dubuque area. Host was always available when we had questions.

Great base for exploring Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Iowa

This is our second stay at Nick's family getaway. The house has everything we need when we are visiting our family in Waterloo, Iowa. The kitchen is well stocked, the sauna is very nice and the entire house is spacious and comfortable. I would recommend Nick's family getaway for anyone exploring the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area.

Quiet & Clean

This was our family's 1st experience with a vacation rental vs a hotel and it was great! The house was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and accommodated my family of 4. We were in town to visit the Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo. Communication with the host was wonderful and questions were answered quickly.

Great Place to Stay to Visit Waterloo, IA

We were looking for an alternative to hotels when we visit family in the Waterloo area. This is the place! We were both able to work remotely while there. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the master bath was a very nice size. The sauna was a very nice touch. Everything worked as expected and the furnace was able to keep up with the -15 degree temperatures we experienced during our stay. The instruction manual was complete and answered most of our questions. I hope stay here for our future visits.

Fall Family Wedding

There were plenty of sleeping spaces for 5 separate family members. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and appliances that it felt like your own kitchen. There was no time for the sauna and jacuzzi, but they looked inviting. I did bring extra bedding (I drove to the unit) which we used since there was not enough for those using the sectionals for sleeping (or we did not look in the right places!). Overall, nice, welcoming unit with convenient location within the surrounding cities.
