The stay couldn't have been better and the studio was gorgeous. Truly a gem with a beautiful view. Amazing value for a reasonable stay in beautiful Ashland. Incredible views and Bill was a top notch host. Would highly recommend!
What an absolutely amazing property. You feel tucked up all by yourself surrounded by beautiful mountins all the while being a 6mun drive to any creature comfort you'd want. Stunning property. Not too sure whats better - the view from the bathroom or the heated seat on the toilet! Thanks for opening up your propertu, Bill!
The studio's location is super close and convenient for anything in downtown Ashland while managing to be far enough that you get the peace and quiet of being up in the hills. It was nice to hit up a show and shopping, go back for a nap, and then do evening stuff in Ashland again. The studio itself is very well set up, and the bed may be the most comfortable one I've stayed in when travelling.
This was perfect for my needs. Very spacious suite! Came into town for a Spiritual Retreat. Needed a place to rest and nurture myself from early wake ups and bedtimes. This was the perfect spot. I was able to view sunrises over the mountains. Wild birds and a family of deer welcomed me some early mornings. Big Bathtub to soak in. Very cozy, clean and quite!! The kitchen set up was perfect for my needs and stocked with several amenities!!! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to be back in the future. Highly recommend!

Bill was a poor communicator and seemed like he did not enjoy his role of being a host. He was not responsive in early communication and even less so during my stay. Additionally, The studio is very dark

I was shocked when I read this review. I have never received less than 4 stars and my average rating over the past 7 years has been 4.98 out of 5. This rating says more about the guest than the host. Let me explain: 1) The person who stayed at my place was not BK L. I had no information or rating for "Lisa" when she arrived. Prior to the date of arrival, she sent me a message asking me to change her arrival date. I told her she needed to do that on the website. Subsequently, she said she would leave the dates as they were. When she arrived, I treated her cordially and explained the parking. She seemed nice enough. The next morning, she call and said the shower wasn't working. I came over as soon as I could and tested the shower. It functioned perfectly. She was somewhat embarrassed and apologized. The main room has a translucent sliding door which is about 10' and 7' high. As you can imagine, it lets in a tremendous amount of light into the room, especially in late afternoon. Perhaps she couldn't figure out how to open the curtains. There is another decent sized window in the main room that looks out at the magnolia tree in the back garden area and a large window in the bathroom that provides a beautiful view of the mountains across the valley. My properties are almost universally loved. Many guests come back as repeat guests.
