This little piece of heaven has something for everyone to do and our family really enjoyed our spring break stay! We really enjoyed the serene views, lounging by the lake, using the kayaks and SUPs provided and the a late night dip in the hot tub. Truly felt like a home away from home and the hosts were so friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Great spot!

Great spot with lots of little special touches that made for a fantastic stay. Lake was low, weather was bad, and STILL had a GREAT time. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Location & Well Appointed

Lovely family home

We enjoyed our stay at this family friendly home. The kitchen is well stocked and supplies are readily available. My grandkids loved having the deer come up each day and feeding them off the deck.

Great Lakefront Spot

We had a great time playing on the lakeshore, making s’mores, and feeding the deer at this property. Gruene is about 30 min away and was a fun side trip.

We felt right at home. This place is a hidden jewel. We had a great weekend. We loved the experience of an indoor wood furnace. We were lucky that we were able to feed the deer.

Great place.

We wanted a fun family get away to experience Canyon Lake and this place provided just that. Great for all ages. Malina and Darrell are some of the best hosts we have ever had in VRBO. They were very helpful and allowed us to enjoy our stay. We rented their jet ski and had a blast. The view and property are amazing. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.

What an amazing mini vacation. The house is lovely, charming and unique. Complete gem. My family loved watching the deer in our back yard, up to 20 at one point. The house was so comfortable and spacious and beautifully decorated. We made wonderful memories swimming, kayaking, jet skiing and playing games, fishing. I would recommend in a heart beat. The hosts even left a little gift basket to welcome us.

The inside of the house was very cute. However the outside needs some work. The so called "beach area" is a small piece owner has boxed in and put sand. The place is very rocky and hard to get to the watwr for older and younger people.

Relaxing Stay

Relaxing stay, house is cute and quiet and a good time! Host was great to communicate with. Maybe due to the lake level, but it is a pretty rocky walk down to the water even with shoes on. We were okay, but just something to keep in mind if you are taking pets or kids.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Canyon Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We’ve stayed in various Vrbo properties around the USA. This was one our best finds! Malina went to great lengths to provide us with all the comforts of home. Beautiful home on the lake, with so many things to do! What more could you ask for? Highly highly recommended!

House was cozy, rooms weren’t as described on part of the listing about sleeping areas but I believe that’s been corrected now. 4 girls showed up to celebrate a bday on the lake and tan together on the 4 beds and 2 of them were missing and weren’t replaced until the middle of the 2nd day, which was our last day there, so we ended up having to make other plans. Loved the dozens of deer visiting in the evening and loved the upper patio overlooking the lake. Owner was very responsive.

The location was great but the house was extremely dirty. The sheets were filthy with hair and dirt on them. We tried washing them but the washing machine went for hours and never finished and leaked all over the floor. We had to wring the sheets out to put them in the dryer which also went for hours and never dried. There were fake eyelashes stuck to the shower. There was blood from meat that preciously leaked all over the fridge. Our trip was scheduled for 6 days but we left after 3 due to the annoyance of dealing with the house issues. I explained the issues to the owner so that if they were paying someone to clean the house they would know what a terrible job they were doing and they said “sorry for your trouble.”

Really enjoyed the stay at this property! Everything as described. Only hiccup was there were no proper paddles for the kayaks but I contacted them and they had them on order. Shouldn't be an issue for future guests.

Perfect getaway cabin

We stayed at the Rimrock Beach House for 4 days in November. The weather was absolutely perfect to enjoy all the cabin had to offer. The kayaks and paddleboards were ready and waiting. We made a fire for smores and jumped in the hot tub which was perfect for the cool evening. It was so homey and inviting and bonus that we were able to bring our dog and enjoy the time being outside. I couldn't recommend the place more, especially this time of year. The only caution would be that there is a steep hill down to the lake and the bedrooms are all upstairs so be sure to keep that in mind if there are any in your party with physical disabilities. Amazing stay. Thank you for your hospitality!
