Located on a private, wooded hillside in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, the Cabins are only minutes from historic downtown Lexington, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, the Virginia Horse Center and many wedding venues. Our cabins are professionally cleaned per visit. Although pet friendly, pet fees apply. (See house rules for details).

We rented this property for the grooms family to stay in. There was plenty of room for everyone and the property was exactly what we imagined. Would highly recommend.

We had family in town on a busy weekend so this was a nice home base. Given it sleeps 12 comfortably it needs more dining and living furniture to accommodate 12.

Football weekend at VMI

The cabin was spacious enough for our large party to sit down and have meals together. The bedrooms were comfortable. And with 3 full bathrooms, we had plenty of room to accommodate all.

Host was welcoming and available for questions. House was big and great. A true 6 bedroom house with full size bedrooms. Large convenient washer/dryers. Great TV with Roku. Best thing was checklist for checking out was simple, versus places where you have to strip beds and do other household cleaning despite paying a cleaning fee. Would definitely rent again.

The location was great and easy to get in and out. The cabin and space were perfect and fit the needs of the 10 family members staying in the house with very spacious accommodations. The host was easy to reach and responsive. Cleanliness could be improved. Pet tolerant over pet friendly. There was a significant daily fee per dog. Host was kind enough to offer a reduced rate since our dogs are very small. But once in the house, there were additional rules that made having dogs very difficult (no dogs allowed upstairs for example). The listing description should be updated to reflect the rooms, especially the large room upstairs with a queen and twin. It was a pleasant surprise since we needed a room that would sleep 3 but I would have prepared differently. It was a great space with lots of toys for little ones. Had we been traveling with little ones knowing that room was available would make a big difference. Overall it was great. I couldn’t give it 5 stars because of all the house rules and cleaning could be improved.
