Wonderful home in a quiet secluded area with many extra surprises. Hosts were excellent to work with. Location was perfect for a get away but convenient to shops and restaurants.

Thanks for the kind words, Lee! It was such a pleasure having you. Safe travels and looking forward to hosting you in the future!
A property and hosts. The house looks great in the listing but is better in person. Clean and comfortable. We come to area frequently to visit children at school and will stay again and recommend to others.
Such a beautiful and well equipped house on a lovely plot of land. Everything was set up with a seamless and comfortable guest experience in mind. From the welcome message on the digital board to the complimentary breakfast snacks, everything was perfect. We will be back!
We booked Laura & Rashaad’s place for a week for a wedding. We had an amazing and very relaxing trip! The home was just as listed, extremely clean, and the kitchen was well stocked (which we needed because we did a lot of cooking). The porches were so peaceful and we utilized them daily. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were extremely comfortable! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this VRBO!
Simply the most relaxing weekend. The grounds are beautiful. The area is gorgeous. The house is stunning. It was the perfect place for a girls weekend. Thank you, laura and Rashad for your wonderful hospitality. The smoke detector went off with low battery, and laura and Rashad physically came out to fix it themselves when we couldn’t. The communication was perfect.
The home and landlords. Laura and Rashaad, couldn't been have more perfect. I merely mentioned that we probably might struggle with their elaborate coffee maker, and they bought us a Nepresso machine for our stay! All other questions or issues--simple stuff like how to turn on the oven--were responded to quickly. It's a cozy yet luxurious home and the pictures in the listing are spot on. Everything is top notch. Their library is stocked with a huge range of books and they even have a turntable that reminded me of the joys of vynyl (and of the Eagles). The location is amazing--top of a hill with stunning views but close to the towns. We arrived at was peak leaf time but we'd come back for any season. Thank you both.
This charming house was the perfect escape for our week-long getaway. It was spacious yet very cozy. Equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the house sparkled with cleanliness and meticulous care. The beds were an invitation to pure relaxation after a day of exploration.
Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, the location couldn't have been better. Short drives to Kent and New Milford with quaint taverns and delicious restaurants. Even rainy days held their own charm – the covered front porch became a cozy haven to watch the downpour. For evenings in, if you didn’t want to watch a movie or TV, you have a selection of games and puzzles, providing endless entertainment. A delightful bonus was the private garage parking.
The responsive and welcoming host truly made the difference. Her thoughtful gesture of checking in to ensure our comfort, along with the surprise of fresh flowers, candies, and a bottle of wine upon arrival, added a touch of magic to our stay. Everything felt special.
Beyond the house itself, the area offered stunning natural beauty. We took a hike along a scenic trail bordering the Housatonic River, part of the Appalachian Trail. Another day was dedicated to playing golf in New Milford.
Needless to say, this haven won us over completely. We wouldn't hesitate to return for another memorable escape.
