This was a nice place to stay up Ute pass. It was nicely decorated and enjoyable . Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the patio or the hot tub because it was cold rainy and snowy in May. Everything was smooth and easy with check-in and finding the location. Kimmie is a great host.

We're so blessed by guests like you. Thanks for staying and sharing your experience!
Very cute place to stay and was perfect for our Thanksgiving. Only recommendation would be to have a couple of extra blankets for guests to use while hanging out in the living room.

So glad you had a nice stay/thanksgiving! I just put two blankets in the ottoman based on your feedback, thank you!
We enjoyed the stay. No issues at all. We enjoy the cooler and drier air in the mountains, and Colorado Springs is just a short drive away. We would stay there again.

The family went to Colorado for a week and had a awesome vacation. I highly recommend staying here. The place is very homey with everything you could possibly want. The kids loved spending time in the hot tub, even though it was July, it was cool and rainy. Our hosts made sure that our stay would be a memorable one.

About the host
Hosted by Kimmy
Kimmy and Jesh fell in love on the opposite of the world in Abu Dhabi but both share a lot of the mountains and all things outdoors. Our huge “puppy” Dawg goes everywhere with us and would love to meet you if you are so inclined. If you have questions about anything Jesh has lived in Colorado Springs most of his life and can tell you all the best places to hike, bike, camp or visit
Why they chose this property
We wanted to live next to a year round creek and not feel trapped in a city. This location is nestled in the mountains but still be close to friends/family
What makes this property unique
It's hard to find a place close to all the activities Colorado Springs offers but still be in the mountains with the trees/water. On the property there is a full size Illinois Central Railroad caboose representing the historic railroad that used to run directly past the property 100 years ago
