Thank you so much for this wonderful and thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to our entire team, especially knowing that your family has been vacationing on Isle of Palms since 2002 and has continued to choose Island Realty for so many of those stays. We’re sorry that you arrived to a home with both an AC issue and a dishwasher that was not functioning, but we’re grateful you allowed us the opportunity to find solutions and make the best of an unfortunate situation. We’re glad the room-by-room AC units worked satisfactorily and that we were able to provide a fair adjustment for the dishwasher inconvenience. Your kind words about our staff and their efforts to resolve these issues are especially appreciated. We know how important your family vacations are, and our goal is always to communicate openly, provide options, and do everything we can to minimize the impact when unexpected problems arise. Thank you again for your continued trust in Island Realty. We are absolutely delighted to hear that you’ll be back next season, and we look forward to welcoming your family back to the Isle of Palms!

Thank you for your review. We understand your feelings regarding the pool heating. This pool is heated with propane gas and the $600 fee covers the cost of the propane to heat the pool. Thank you so much for booking with Island Realty.

Thanks so much for your review! We're really happy you enjoyed the house and found the elevator and kitchen setup helpful—it’s always great to hear when those little touches make a difference. Totally understand your thoughts on the top-floor bedroom—it’s definitely a bit different, and we appreciate you pointing that out for others who might be curious. Glad to hear you loved the location! Being close to the beach and all the local spots is a big plus, though the lively neighborhood does bring a bit of noise at times. Thanks for mentioning that for future guests. Hope we get to host you again soon! Thank you for booking with Island Realty

Thank you for your review. We work very hard to accurately portray the property's layout in our description and in all of our photos so that guests can understand the layout. Thank you for your feedback regarding the elevator, the elevator is recommended for cargo use and is functioning as it should. It is a typical residential elevator. Regarding any housekeeping concerns, please know that we do have a housekeeping team on call 7 days a week during regular business hours who are happy to assist.
