FISHING FISHING FISHING right off the dock if you wish!
If you like to fish, this lake is well stocked. Fish off our dock, or in the kayaks or pedal boat. Also, a really nice golf course nearby.
We have 2 stand Up Paddleboards for the guests to use. Plus 2 kayaks.
There is a 3 minute video you can see here on VRBO video section of this posting.
We completed a $250,000 renovation. 100% remodeled from top to bottom. High end Thermador kitchen. The home is quite large, but with a very intimate feel! It has a real Bed and Breakfast feel! Three floors of living space. Recently remodeled full bathroom and a new second floor bath with round glass corner shower.
A spectacular stone patio with built-in fire pit.
We are pet friendly! See details below: This house is pretty big, not a camp or cabin, more like a large English or French country cottage: -Living room 23X16 lake views -Family Room/Foyer 14X18 -Kitchen 18x13 lake views -BR 1 16X13 BR 2 10x18 BR 3 15X18 lake views in 2 out of 3 bedrooms
This house is beautiful with 7 (yes 7) fireplace mantels. All uniquely designed. I have never met a person who did not fall in love with this house. We did, that's why we bought it. We never looked at any other lake houses anywhere, this was it and we knew it they first time we saw it. In the summer we have a lakeside deck leading to a 24 ft boat dock and small beachy area. The water in the swimming area is quite shallow and great for little kids, it has a mostly-sandy bottom and the water is warm. Crescent lake is one of the cleanest in NH. Deeper swimming is out about 50 yards. The swimming area is in sunlight all day, but plenty of shade just steps away. We are in the cove off the main lake in a no wake zone, meaning it is very safe for children, kayakers etc. The boat dock can accommodate water ski type boats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboats etc.
The lakeside yard has plenty of sun and shade.
Sorry, the pontoon boat is not available for renters use. But you can bring your own boat. The yard has a spectacular new stone patio with built-in fire-pit, fire pit seating, and outdoor dining with umbrella.
There is a beautiful newly rebuilt covered porch overlooking the patio and lake, off the lower level entertainment area. First floor mini suite bedroom and family room, sleeps 2 in a king size bed. There is a DSL wired and wireless internet hookup located here. (There is no broadcast or cable television available in this area. However, you can stream TV video on your accounts with Netflix, Hulu and your computer or our TV and our Roku box. We just added an entire Sonos music system for your use in the living room, family room and on the outdoor patio/porch area. The first floor also has large separate living room off open eat-in kitchen with dining table and separate dining room and a large sitting area overlooking lake with gas fireplace. There are 3 dining/eating areas.
The kitchen is remodeled, Thermador luxury with a triple oven, built-in refrigerator and induction 36 inch cooktop. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, the master is overlooking the lake with 2 queen size beds, sleeps 4. The other bedroom is a guest/family or kids bedroom with two double bed and a single trundle, sleeps 5. The lower level is an entertainment area complete with Pool table. There are fishing rods and a tackle box that you can use. But you will need to string and hook the fishing rods yourself. There are twin sliding over-sized glass doors to the outside and porch. There are tons of linens, comforters and throws to keep you comfortable anytime of the year.
This place is great for Junes high school graduations and family gatherings

House was perfect for a girls weekend away! Great amount of space for 7 women, clean, had everything we needed and then some! Kayaks and paddle boards were perfect since we had beautiful weather for late September! Would for sure stay here again!

Elizabeth, thank you so much for your five star review. Please visit again.
We had a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the spaciousness and cozy cottage atmosphere. Access to the lake was great. We were able to use the kayaks and pedal boat with ease. A lot of time in the evening was spent playing ping pong downstairs, which we really appreciated. Very happy overall with the place. Thank you!
Loved the house had plenty of room. Was quiet and a well equipped house.

Weekend getaway
Wonderful house with plenty of room! The pictures do not do the space enough justice. The host was super communicative and that was great! Plenty of cookware and spices made our cooking easier. It was rainy during our stay but had plenty of games and activities to keep us entertained in the beautiful family room.

From the owner: "Thank you so much, Hannah, for this wonderful five-star review. Please come again"
The cottage is in a very quiet and remote part of New Hampshire, and is a great place to get away from it all! The lake is tranquil and crystal clean. We enjoyed our stay.
We really appreciated all the extra amenities that were provided -- fully equipped kitchen, coffee and basic kitchen supplies, laundry, comfortable bedrooms, outside grill & fire pits. And we especially enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. It was the perfect location for a quiet fall retreat with family.

Hi, thank you so much for the wonderful review. You are fantastic guests, please come again.
The water is shallow and perfect for a 3 and almost 5 year old to play and learn how to swim. Great patio and yard for activities and relaxing.

A beautiful place
We stayed over Christmas and New Year's and couldn't have been happier or more comfortable in this beautiful house set amongst the trees on the shore of Crescent Lake. The kitchen is fantastic and the views from the sunroom are calming. We would be very happy to stay again.
The house was beautiful inside and out. Everything was very clean and very comfortable, and the view of the lake was outstanding.
For the winter months the lower level with the pool table was cold, but we were still able to enjoy it.
The host of the property had exceptionally good communication and was attentive and helpful.
We were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back again.

Quiet location with great water access for small children
The location of the house is wonderful, it has a beautiful, private backyard. The walk-in access to the water was great for the small children in our group. I would recommend water shoes for the mucky bottom. The house was spacious however the rugs were not vacuumed. The pool cues were not useable, all the tips were gone. And when we went to make our beds (clean sheets were left folded on each bed) the sheets were damp.

Hi Caroline, we appreciate you highlighting the home’s wonderful location, private backyard, and great water access for young children. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they'd like to share the following:- We have spoken directly with the cleaning team regarding your concerns about vacuuming and damp sheets to ensure future guests arrive at a properly prepared home.- Regarding the pool cues, while a few cues do need new tips, there is a set of backup cues stored in the utility room adjacent to the pool table, along with a convenient cue retipping kit at home.- We appreciate your suggestion about using water shoes, as the soft lake bottom can indeed be mucky, and water shoes will certainly enhance comfort and safety for future guests. Thanks for your valuable feedback.
What a perfect way to spend a week in fall. This house is so charming and comfortable. The lake is serene and beckons you to take out a kayak. All the modern conveniences in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

Why they chose this property
We previously rented this property for years. When the owners decided to sell we decided it had to be ours. We never looked at any other house, this was it.
