Originally Potters Camp in the early 1900s, it now caters to all types of vacationers seeking a unique mountain experience, from couples and families to large groups for gatherings and events.

Each cabin is ideal for an adventure in the mountains offering the comforts from home, modern essentials, and an unbeatable location in the mountains. Reserved individually or combined together these adorable cottages and the incredible location becomes the perfect year round destination for any season, sitting just steps away from the shoreline at Big Bear Lake and within a short walk to local marinas and the downtown Village area. Relax on lake-view decks, enjoy the group patio area, or use the provided Charcoal BBQ for grilling.

Shore Acres Lodge boasts fantastic facilities: a lakefront location, seasonal shared boat dock, fishing area, summertime community swimming pool (weekends only, Memorial Day to Labor Day), outdoor horseshoe and volleyball pit, kids swing-set, large outdoor BBQ and picnic area, outdoor table tennis, onsite trash disposal, hi-speed WIFI access, flat screen streaming TVs, and a spacious pet-friendly property. Our goal for our stay in Big Bear was to totally relax and unwind after a stressful several weeks. Our cabin was the perfect escape. We hope to repeat this experience in the future.

the cabin and stay

Maintenance in the bathrooms is poor the carpet can be steamed cleaned and the cob webs cleaned and upgrade internet. But the feel of the cabin was great.

I loved the location. Location was as described right by the lake. The place had everything we needed. And they responded to all my questions very fast.However, we couldn't use the chamny as it says it is damaged. The check out is at 10:00am and the check in at 4:00pm but they don't do much cleanning as the pleace wasn't very clean.And they asked us to leave it clean and take our trash. Also, if you do not like pets or are allergy to them, I don't recommen this place, as it has a lot of pet's fur everywhere; specially in the livingroom; which is small and furnitures are old and dirty, we couldn't use it, because of that.

Very cozy

It was a good location and very cozy. However, there was a bit of sand/dirt on the beds. We had to shake the covers. When we arrived there was beer on the window sill. We arrived really late so we did not think of contacting the managing company but I'm sure they would have helped with some extra bedding. They also need a boot tray to help whith the weather dirt or provide a mop to help us clean up while we are there. Small things but overall we are thinking of going back for the summer.

Great location

The only thing that was nice about this property was the location. Having the view of the lake from our living room window was amazing. The wifi never worked the entire weekend. We could not get through the vacation desk number they gave us. The sofas were really dirty. It had no dishwasher.
