Perfect 3 day getaway for our family of 8 adults and 7 children. Kids enjoyed room to play soccer in back yard and tennis courts. After busy days of Mohican activities, which were about 10 minutes away, we relaxed around a bonfire. I appreciated the cleanliness of the home. The host was very ready to help but not bothersome. Would come back!

We loved this place. Only negative for us was the Glade air fresheners in the house. My granddaughter has many allergies and started getting a headache right away. But we removed the fresheners and opened windows for awhile and it was fine!

Beautiful views!! We loved the covered porch with the extra living space. Fire pit was a bonus too. Listing states 2 full and 2 half bathrooms. Only 2 full bathrooms. We wouldn't have rented it had we known that. Also, the pullout couch is broken, what I could see of the mattress pad it was dirty,the coffee maker did not work, not enough large pots and pans for a house that will sleep 16, the dinette set is not sturdy, and cushions are filthy. Fortunately, my family member was able to just sleep on the couch, we had brought an additional coffee maker, and we primarily used the lovely table on the porch. I love the home has parking for plenty of cars. The driveway could be very treacherous in the winter months. We had a great time with family despite the few negative things.

The house was very clean! The view was beautiful! The front deck needs a little love as well as the tennis court but those issues did not distract from our stay at all. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of things for the kids to do, and the peace and quiet were perfect for a nice get-a-way!

Perfect Getaway for a Family of Friends

The "Retreat" was the perfect location for a group of old friends celebrating several birthdays and enjoying the remoteness of a beautiful property. For those looking for a remote location, beautiful farmland views, on property tennis/pickleball, gas and wood fire pits and local activities of hiking, birding, local breweries, old school hardware retail (Lehman's) and more, this is that spot!

Family Mohican Trip

This stay was great! We had both sets of in-laws plus our kids and our best friends, and the house was plenty of space! We were able to cook all week, and there were plenty of utensils in the drawers for things we forgot! Close to all of the main attractions, nicely secluded, and very well maintained property. Tennis court was a hit!

Family Get Away

We had a lovely time on property. It had everything we could have wanted and more. We have 5 nearly all adult children who greatly appreciated their own space while we were together. The kitchen and dining area is open, the living room was cozy. Having two full baths was fantastic. We had a blast with the pickleball court and the fire pit. Our favorite spot to sit, chat, and read our books was on the patio under the wood arch. The furniture was comfortable, the breeze was delightful. We were the perfect distance from having "things to do" and far enough away we felt like we were in a world of our own. Sam the owner was extremely accommodating and responsive when I had questions. We will certainly be back!
