Beautiful home in a great location, just a short walk to the lake! Home was clean, spacious and we enjoyed the fireplace every night during our stay in December! Will definitely come back!
The space worked very well for our family. Very well stocked kitchen. Clear instructions on using everything in the home. LOVED the walking access to the lake (a private park/beach) restaurants, marina, bike rentals, grocery!)
Wonderful location with easy walk to the HOA beach, Firesign Cafe, and Sunnyside. Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils and the beds were very comfortable. The deck had plenty of nice comfortable furniture and the big BBQ made cooking outside a pleasure.
Great location. Easy access to many locations on the west side of Tahoe. The property was as described. Comfortable for 6 adults. Having access to the private beach was a plus. Walking distance to West shore market and multiple restaurants. Definitely eat at Spoon if you are able.
Kitchen was not clean some drawers were really dirtyand utensils. Home is nice and beds were comfortable. Internet was spotty. Upstairs shower is too small to be comfortable. Overall we'd still go back. We were the first renters so I'm sure it'll be better.
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is as listed and the property manager was easy to reach, even after hours! There were a few things that we noticed, just good to know. There were dirty dishes and utensils in the cabinet. There were a lot of seasonings and food in the pantry- a lot of the food is expired- some more than a few years. The outside deck was very sticky- and smelt strong of polyurethane. It made it difficult to enjoy the porch. Additionally outdoor seating would be nice since you couldn’t sit on the built in benches. This was the real reason we took off a star- would do 4.5 if we could. The outside is so beautiful and we couldnt enjoy it. Additional things, the grill is dirty- it was causing high flames and made it difficult to grill chicken. There are limited towels!! If you staying long, plan to wash them. If you have multiple people- plan to spread out showers- hot water runs out kinda quick. It is cozy, and clean, and in a great area for walks. We loved having access to the private park and beach area.

We’re happy to hear this guest enjoyed the home’s cozy atmosphere, peaceful setting, and access to the private park and beach — it really is a wonderful spot to unwind!
We appreciate these thoughtful notes. Guests departing the home are responsible for washing and starting the dishwasher before checkout, and it disappointing to hear that previous guests have put away dishes without being fully cleaned. Our clean team always inspects dishes as they unload the dishwasher. We will let our clean team know about this issue.
The deck was recently refinished before this guests' arrival, which explains the polyurethane scent during your stay. The smell only lasts a few days while the stain in drying. We’ll also let the homeowner know about possibly adding cushions for the built-in benches in the future, though there is a lovely outdoor table with chairs available for guest use.
Regarding the BBQ, we do our best to clean the grill thoroughly after every guest, but sometimes when extra-greasy foods are cooked, residue can be harder to spot until it’s reheated. We’ve asked our cleaning team to give it an extra scrub.
This feedback truly helps us improve and maintain the high standards we strive for. We hope to have the chance to welcome this guest back again!
