Welcome to a wonderful home in quiet, family-friendly West Lakeview/Roscoe Village. This is a spacious 2 bedroom+office/1 bath with a sunny private patio deck in the rear with everything you need for a relaxing getaway in Chicago. It is walking distance to everything you need: grocery store (5 min walk), pharmacy (3 min walk), bars + restos (5 min walk), Brown line station Paulina (9 min walk), Hamlin Park (6 min walk), Wrigley Field (8 min drive). On-street parking is permitted.
The space
The apartment is the entire first floor of a wonderful 3-storey home. It has front-facing living room with large bay window, spacious kitchen, a tropical-themed full bathroom, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds (including one with a private entrance onto the rear patio deck and a working space), and a full sized office/den. Amenities include a large, brand new 65" smart TV in the living room, 50" smart TV in the main bedroom, WiFi, streaming services (Netflix, HBO Max, Disney), fully equipped kitchen, dining table with room for 6, en-suite washer + dryer, 2 work areas with desks and monitors, BBQ, smart locks for access. Backyard is shared with owner. Dogs under 30 lbs are allowed.

Exactly what we were looking for. Cute place and cute area. Coincidentally was the neighborhood a relative grew up in so that was very cool! Really enjoyed our time here and communication was good!

We had the best time visiting the city and Roscoe Village. Sebastian was a fantastic host and the property was clean and had everything we needed for our three week stay. The property was spacious and the location was walking distance to a grocery store, bus stations, the CTA line, restaurants and coffee shops. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a safe and walkable neighborhood with easy access to all the city has to offer. The house is very quiet, tastefully decorated and we enjoyed the easy parking on Barry Street. We couldn't recommend this property more, and will make sure to stay here again, when we return.

Great location. Struggled a bit with the keypad entry at first, but host immediately responded to help request. Thermostat was also hard to adjust, but hopefully that can be fixed. Wished there had been a broom and dustpan. These are all minor issues, though.Overall, great.

Great base for Chicago trip

We enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable apartment. All you could need including a back deck with a nice yard. It was close to our family and in a nice Roscoe Village area neighborhood. It was also a good location for us to attend a wedding and reception in the Lincoln Park neighborhood near the zoo. Montrose Beach is close too.

Everything was perfect. The two TVs kept my husband & son during downtime. The location was literally 5 minutes from my daughter’s house which was soooo convenient. The neighborhood appeared safe & festive for the holidays. The Christmas tree added a much homey feeling

I loved the location of this downstairs property. Property itself was very clean and comfortable with a lot of nice little touches like toiletries in the bathroom and Ramen noodle cups in the kitchen. The neighborhood itself was delightful. Many people were out walking, including families pushing strollers. And the Paulina station for the Loop train was a convenient 10 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Best Location!

We had a concert at Wrigley and this was perfect! This home was amazing and so comfortable! We loved the little patio out back to hang out. We couldn’t hear the train or traffic from outside. We had everything we needed and then some. The owner was amazing and answered every question we had and even suggested places to eat. I really appreciated this so much. Would definitely come back!

Location was perfect! Beautiful little street. Walking distance to a grocery store, and other amenities. Host was great at communicating. Would have enjoyed our stay better if we could have controlled the thermostat, as there were times we found it very cold and could not adjust temperature without contacting the host. Feel there were a few things that could do with a little tlc as well as a better clean. The screen door was hard to open but I’m sure if the track had a good cleaning it would work better.
