Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Scenery was gorgeous: the lake, view of Grandfather Mountain. The sunsets were so beautiful! It was the nicest place we've ever stayed on vacation.

This is a lovely, spacious, warm mountain house with a gorgeous view on the neighborhood lake. Even though we went during the busy season in Blowing Rock,this location provided ample privacy and quiet while being close to downtown.Local restaurants offered wonderful food when we wanted to go out. The house grill and deck provided simple cooking and scenic eating when we wanted to hang back.We really didn't want to leave....and we really want to go back. And we just got home!

This is an absolutely GORGEOUS home in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and the decor throughout was welcoming. We loved spending time out on the deck and in front of the beautiful stone fireplace. The views of the lake invited tranquility and calm. The neighborhood roads were perfect for walking our dog. The location is perfect for hiking on Grandfather Mountain, hiking off the parkway, or visiting downtown Blowing Rock. Cannot wait to visit again!

Beautiful everything! The home. The location. The view. The drive. The city. The restaurants. The shopping. The hosts!!!!! Our annual family girls trip couldn't have been any better & this home fit us perfectly in so many ways. It was sooooo much more than we expected. The home was beautifully decorated, so clean & well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing time with family. The hosts were beyond wonderful. Quick to reply & very helpful. Highly recommend!!!

This was a lovely home and neighborhood. The view was so picturesque that we were content walking the lake and creek trails and enjoying the outside sitting, kayaking/canoe and fishing and not leaving much! The hot tub was a nice addition. The host was helpful and quick to respond with questions. We would love to return and enjoy this special place again.

Beautiful setting in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of places to take leisurely strolls. Such a relaxing place to kick back and enjoy the mountains. Well appointed home with everything you need for your stay. We rented for a guys’ getaway. Really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on the lake! Will definitely be back in the future.

Our family had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. Unfortunately we had to end our trip a couple of days early due to a family emergency back home. We look forward to our next trip back. We certainly will be back and would recommend this placed in a heartbeat!

Stayed for a long weekend with family. Beautiful house in a great location close to downtown Blowing Rock. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable living room furniture and beds. We enjoyed the canoe and kayak that were supplied to use on the water. The gated community and paved neighborhood streets (surprisingly flat for the mountains!) were perfect for our 3 small children to walk, ride bikes, etc. Would certainly book this house again and highly recommend for anyone with children looking to spend quality family time!
