About this property

1 bedroom Modern Victorian in heart of downtown

Stylish 1890's Victorian 1 bedroom house centrally located a 1/2 block off Broad St. in the heart of downtown.

Living room & dining room are perfect for relaxing after exploring all this area has to offer! Fully stocked kitchen & 1 full bathroom. There is a porch to hang out on & watch the world go by!

700+ Mbps wifi speeds

2 minute walk to all shops and restaurants! 1 block from Miner’s Foundry

Our house is walkable to every restaurant and shop in downtown.

A few things to note:
-Dogs are only allowed with prior consent from host. An agreement to dog rules and non-refundable dog fee will be requested of you. Please mention you will be bringing a pet when you book with us. No cats, please!

-There is a $30/ night fee for any additional people over 2.

-2 parking spots max.

-Back patio is shared with the 1 bedroom Carriage Haus

-Please note that this is not a house for loud gatherings. Quiet hours are 9pm-8am. No loud talking or music outside after 9pm. We have had complaints from our neighbors about previous guest’s noise levels so we like to make sure future guests know this is not a house for partying or spending late nights outside. Please note we have noise decibel monitors around the property.

-We do not allow ANY additional guests beyond the # listed on the reservation for an extended period (beyond an hour). Should you need to have additional people come over for longer, please let me know and we can work out an additional fee. Having additional people coming in and out of our space is wear and tear on the property and additionally, the city short term rental permits do not allow gatherings beyond the # of registered guests. There will be a fine for any unapproved guests.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
-Place used bath, river, wash clothes & hand towels in front of the washer. If you have 2 or more bath or river towels, please start a load w/ detergent -Wash dirty dishes thoroughly, dry & put away.
-Load and start dishwasher -Gather belongings. We charge a $25 fee + shipping costs to return items. -Turn off all lights, fireplace, small fans, central heater or AC -Put away pack n play
-Clean the BBQ grill for the next guests, if used. -Late checkouts are SOMETIMES possible but ask 24 hours before check out. If prior approval is not given, we charge $30 every 15 minutes after 11am.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No noise outside after 930.

Finding gold in gold country!

The house is easy to find, and most importantly it is tucked off Broad St ( the Main Street) and hence very quiet. Access to downtown stores and fine dining is a simple short walk. The rooms are beautifully decorated and opulent with dark walls offset by brass fixtures. We ate all our meals out, but we plan to return and take advantage
