About this property

Balaloo's Cottage is my family and friend's bunkhouse studio when they are in town. When they are not, this airy and peaceful cottage tucked away in my garden is a perfect place for you to hunker down with work or make your cozy base while in Seattle visiting friends and site seeing. The cottage is within walking or short biking distance to several recommendable restaurants, pubs, and cafes. It is also close to bus lines for an easy way to get to downtown Seattle.

Your host

My family has enjoyed world travel and staying in small privately owned places while we are on the road exploring. We have also had great experiences renting other people's property for family reunions or when visiting friends or family. I have this small cottage in my garden for my mother, family, and friends' use which I decided to open up for other visitors to use when it is available.

Why they chose this property

Walking distance or a short drive/bike to pubs and recommendable restaurants, ice cream parlors, cafes, grocery, library, and other supplies shopping. It is an urban area but the wide variety of gardens and trees in my neighborhood disguise the urban setting.

What makes this property unique

It is a cozy yet airy place to stay with a high ceiling and lots of large windows. The cottage is tucked into my garden away from the street. A set of six natural stone steps then a terrace then six more stone steps lead the guest from my front gate down to (and up from) the cottage.
