Clean older cottage with a very comfortable living room, huge flat screen TV. Bed was super comfortable. We appreciate when hosts allow our bigger dog. It was also nice that they had an enclosed area with gates to let her run around in. Nice location … easy to get to many Waco attractions. Nice host who communicated well.
Such a nice cottage. Very peaceful. Our son, a student a Baylor, came and stayed with us one evening. We enjoyed our stay. We took in some of the sights in Waco and also went to Homestead Heritage, which was recommended by our host. We will definitely stay here again!!
Loved our relaxing stay at Cameron Park! Near the park and a short distance from the zoo. The space is a carriage house on the grounds of an 100 year old housewith a gorgeous garden. Loved waking up to light at the windows and a view of that garden. Compact, it is a great space for one or two people. Had everything needed for light cooking: a lovely little oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker. *Very* compact bath room with shower for bench and rainshower shower head. There is an extendable mirror which was helpful. Comfy bed. Very much appreciated the ironing board and iron. The entrance driveway is flanked by hedges on both sides; it is a bit like entering an enchanted place. Tap water is not filtered so you may want to buy water. *Very* easy commute to downtown and convention center. HEB grocery store is nearby and an easy drive. Lovely neighborhood! Walking distance to zoo. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The cottage and surrounding area met all our expectations. We enjoyed spending time in a historic part of Waco with proximity to Cameron Park and all that downtown has to offer. We plan to stay here again when the cottage is available.
Extremely cute place. Love the history behind the house and enjoyed the chance to read about the history through the material the owner left for use to read.
Good location, clean cottage, pretty yard and neighborhood, and right by Cameron Park. Nice amenities just a short distance from all the sights in Waco.
I'm a Baylor professor and mother of 3 children--ages 14, 12 and 5. I've lived in Waco since 2002 and in this house since 2008. We absolutely love Cameron Park, and think you will too!
