I live in LA, though I'm in Abiquiu whenever I can be! Dogs, gardens, good food and travel are my passions. Two kids, both in college, are my heart,
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with Abiquiu on a trip to Santa Fe where we took a day trip to see Georgia O'Keeffe's house. Thought about it for a few years and then came back and bought the property. I recently added some adjacent acres and it's my dream to create an artist residency there.
What makes this property unique
The 3 houses are all adobes, a kind of building I didn't know much about before I came to Abiquiu. It's a traditional construction method using mud bricks that are dried in the sun rather than being fired in a kiln. They are perfect for this climate and a pleasure to stay in. Warm in winter and cool in summer!
