*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.
**IMPORTANT AMENITY UPDATE: AS OF A CHANGE MADE IN EARLY 2021, THE DOLLAR POINT ASSOCIATION WILL NO LONGER ALLOW SHORT-TERM RENTERS TO BE GIVEN ACCESS TO ANY HOMEOWNER'S AMENITIES. THIS INCLUDES THE PRIVATE BEACH, POOL, AND TENNIS COURTS. **

This Mid-Century Modern Tahoe vacation rental is for aficionados who dig retro charm, modern day conveniences, wonderful views, and a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. This joyous getaway is sure to provide a memorable, vacation rental experience for the entire family. The house is light and airy with a multitude of windows for cross breezes and sounds of nature. Featuring five bedrooms and a loft, it has an open concept kitchen with modern cabinetry, new appliances and upscale cookware. The living room, tastefully furnished in bright colors against warm wood tones, is framed by vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows with Lake Tahoe as a backdrop, perfect for watching sunsets. The family room downstairs is a stellar space for boogying down with a stereo system, foosball table and nifty sectional sofa. And last but not least, the lake view deck area has ample room for chilling with a full complement of outdoor lounge seating and a hot tub, while the spacious and wonderfully landscaped yard is ideal for lawn games. This fab and funky home is the perfect backdrop to a lasting family memory.
This stunningly renovated house offers a hot tub, the ability to accommodate up to 12 guests. The massive, grassy, backyard allows a safe space for children to enjoy the outdoors. There is also a horseshoe pit for some outdoor fun. Upstairs from the great room is a loft that has two twin beds a large flat screen TV and bean bag, this room becomes the teens' favorite hangout.
Downstairs from the entry floor is a second living-entertainment room with large comfy couches a flat-screen TV and another open fireplace. Off this room are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one a master bath. Both rooms have king beds. On the main level, down the hallway, are three more bedrooms, all containing king beds that share a bathroom. The third bedroom is a beautiful master suite with a large deck and hot tub access from the room.
This one of a kind option is also located just a 5-minute drive outside of Tahoe City, in Dollar Point, and is a short distance along the bike path in warmer months. This upscale lodge is situated amongst all that Tahoe has to offer. Boat ramps, public beach access, kayak, and jet ski rentals, and walking trails are a few of the many summer amenities easily accessible from this vacation rental.

• As stated above, the dollar point association will no longer allow short-term renters to be given access to any homeowner's amenities. This includes the private beach, pool, and tennis courts.
• Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
• Approx 4000 Square Feet
• Although 80% of our properties are pet-friendly - this is NOT a pet-friendly property. Please be respectful of this. We do not consider service animals pets. If you bring a dog, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
IMPORTANT:
On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
•Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
•Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4
POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9 pm - 8 am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3. By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.
