This place was amazing! And there was a dog on the property that kept us from missing our pups. The property was perfectly situated and convenient to most things we wanted to do on that side of the peninsula. The beds were so comfortable and the game room was a lot of fun! I would definitely stay here again.
Everything about this place is wonderful! It is obvious that the owners take the time and effort to ensure that renters to enjoy their stay. From the well stocked kitchen, to the comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor furniture and lastly to the game room in the basement, it is all perfect! Location is also easy for access to great hikes and restaurants.
Our family of 2 adult children and spouses, along with our 3- yr old grandson enjoyed the living space- adequate for taking quiet time alone to being with group…a spacious layout, fun puzzles and games for various ages. We loved the view, especially in the hot tub in the evening hours, the lights of Victoria, the ferry boats, and others navigating the Strait. Hurricane Ridge is handily accessible from here and we got an October day made in heaven to visit there. Also, gr3at communication with host.
This was the best VRBO I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many! This was our home base for exploring Olympic National Park with our three young children. We enjoyed the clean, spacious house, beautiful views, seeing shooting stars while sitting in the hot tub, and even saw a baby black bear in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this beautiful home.
Great location for getting in and out of Olympic Park and the Peninsula. The cabin was beautiful, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. Hot tub was a bonus at the end of a busy day. Highly recommend.
Great views in a great log home. We had pretty much everything we needed. Nice furnishings indoor and out. Comfortable beds, games for rainy days, hot tub etc.. Quite close to Port Angeles for supplies, restaurants, bars.
We absolutely loved this place. It was so comfortable and everything was labeled/explained, making it easy to get comfortable. We made the most of every amenity and would 100% come for another stay.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, well located home. There were no disappointments. The home was clean and the check in process was simple. We enjoyed the view from the deck and the wildlife. The home felt secluded but was close enough to town that I could run in for breakfast while my wife enjoyed her tea on the porch or back deck. I have no notes. Book your stay and enjoy your time. You won’t be disappointed
Great location. Convenient to both Olympic NP and Port Angeles. Everything we needed was there. The best recommendation I can give is that I hope to visit Olympic NP again in the future and would want to stay in this house.
Three generations thoroughly enjoyed this stay. View is amazing. Communication was prompt. Everything in the house is nicely labeled. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the Strait was a highlight. Wonderful property.
We were very lucky to have some gorgeous days and views while staying at this property. The house is well decorated and gives everyone plenty of space to have their own adventure. Just a few minutes from hitting the major access points to the national park. This location was a pleasant refuge after a day of hiking and other adventures.
This place was breathtaking. Gorgeous views of the Juan de Fuca straight and Canada beyond. It was so relaxing hanging out on the porch with such scenic surroundings. The cabin was wonderful and had everything my family needed. The location is perfect as the drive is 8-10 minutes into down. Added bonus: the neighborhood dog, Gurl, visited is every evening. Lovely visit.
The cabin was exactly as listed and even better in person! The view, hot tub, fire pit and location was perfect. The landscaping was beautiful. Wireless phone chargers, well stocked kitchen and comfy beds were appreciated. Enjoyed time on the covered front porch during rain showers. Easy access to town and Olympic NP.
We loved our stay at this cabin. It is well planned, well appointed, and in a great location for adventuring into ONP. The view of Victoria, BC from the kitchen and deck was incredible. The deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. Communication with the owner was prompt and they were very helpful. Highly recommend this property.
Took the family to Pacific NW for first time. Found this location for 7 adults to be great. Not too far from town if you need to get something and far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet and the wonder view. Close to trails and activities during the day. Very clean and well equipped to cook meals and lots of games for younger family on lower level. Would recommend.
My family loved this home in the hills above Port Angeles. With views across to Canada, but only 10 minutes from downtown, this was in an ideal location for visiting the parks and sights in the area, while easily getting to grocery stores and restaurants. The house is very well appointed, with nothing missing that we could have needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, watching the ships passing by, and the local welcoming committee, aka Gurl the border collie, who came by to say hello most days.
This was a stellar property well appointed, cozy bedding, well stocked and labeled kitchen, cordless charging in each bedroom, and heated floors. Easy 10 minute drive to downtown Port Angeles. On clear days there are beautiful distant views of the water. The surrounding garden on the property made it feel like a woodland fairytale. Diana was a responsive host. Don’t hesitate to book it!
The mountain cabin was really nice!! We loved being out a bit and it had a great view. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck!! Our only concern for future stays was the air conditioning. We had hot temps - the fans worked ok, but you might consider adding a similar ductless air conditioning unit like you had in the lower level. Lower level was very damp and cold - maybe that is why you had the ductless unit. We kept air on there to pull humidity out. The 2 main levels were warm. I am guessing most of the time open windows work, but it was quite warm during our 3 day stay. Lots of nice quality touches!!
