5 adults and 5 kids stayed during our trip. Enough room for all without tripping over each other. Own dock with 5 kayaks that the kids loved. The path to the dock is steep so if older might not be idea. For our group no issue and great to have own secluded area to hang out on lake. Great deck area to take in sunset and sunrise.

The pictures do not do this place justice! Gorgeous home, plenty of space, perfect views of the lake. We celebrated Thanksgiving and the kitchen was perfect to cook in!

Thank you, Christie! We’re thrilled you enjoyed your stay and found our home perfect for your Thanksgiving celebration. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another visit!
Chose this location for a weekend family getaway. The house was big enough for all nine of us. Kitchen was well equipped, kayaks at the dock were a big hit with the family, and the water was perfect.
This location was perfect for our family that included three grandchildren and two dogs. Even though it was a little challenging on the gravel road to get back to it it was lovely because it is secluded at the end of the gravel road and the cove is very very quiet. The house was very clean and 99% equipped with everything that you typically need in a vacation stay. The Lake view was beautiful and my 14-year-old grandson even commented on what a great view it was. There were nice touches by the owner and management and when we had one simple issue, all it took was one phone call and it was immediately taken care of. I happen to be post surgery having to use a walker so that made it a little interesting with the mini levels, but it was manageable, and I didn’t know ahead of time about the different levels. We will definitely consider returning here again with our family and pets.

We will look into the heating, thank you for letting us know. The house has many levels like you said, we are sorry you had trouble with that. Safe Travels and Happy New Year!
Beautiful views! Lots of sleeping places! Great kayaks! Steep walk to the water however so come prepared with good sandals that are not flip flops! Kitchen had most everything we needed. Largest complaint is how loud the window air conditioners are.
Very well equipped house. Kitchen had all the pots, pans, and gadgets you need. Great view from the deck. The road in is a little sketchy. I had no problem with my truck. I would highly recommend the property.

Lake View
The site has great views of the lake and lake access. The facility is somewhat deteriorated although clean and functional. Access to the site is difficult with 4 wheel drive vehicles recommenced. Low clearance vehicle access would be difficult or impossible depending on weather. the Path from the house to the water is quite steep and is poorly maintained. It would be a dangerous trip for anyone that is not in good physical condition.

Thank you, Michael, for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful lake views. We appreciate your insights and are committed to making improvements. We hope to welcome you back for another stay soon!
The area around was beautiful, private, lots of room for us. 2 couples and 1 single adult. Several decks to hang out. Lots of walls made of sliding glass doors.Big kitchen. Kayaks and some fishing gear located right at the dock. Steep drive. Not suitable for elderly or small children due to all the many levels and stairs. We loved the location, serene fishing. Wish we could have stayed one more day.
We love the location. Electric lights didn’t work in dining room. Oven/stove range should be replaced- we could not get an even flame on the stovetop, and the oven struggled to heat up. The a/c struggled to work in the bedroom off the main floor. The floor plan worked great for our group.

Thank you for letting us know about the issues. We will get to work on them.
This house would be perfect for the right type of vacationers -
Lots of beds, beds comfortable, lake access very nice, kitchen well appointed, air conditioning works great. Great amount Troy hang out space. Porches were great.
That being said…
Don’t book this house if you have toddlers or anyone with mobility problems. There are so many level changes within the house. House is on steep hill and it would be really tough to navigate. The driveway is also steep. A truck or SUV would work best. There is a flat spot to park but then you would have to walk and carry your things down the steep driveway.
Internet was “ok” but def you would not want to try to work or attend class from here. Possibly it was just our experience but it is worth checking in with management before booking to know for sure.
We also had problems with water smell and pressure but that is being looked into so might not be a future issue. Management company very easy to work with and they had excellent communication.

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on the internet this week and the water issues will be resolved before the next guest. The Fall Drive House is a hillside lake front home. You need full mobility to access the lake and as you stated the house has many levels. Thank you again for your feedback, we work hard to make sure expectations are met. Safe travels.
