Our home is on a very quiet private road with pristine views of Kego Lake. It's newer construction and has a fun vibe. Kego lake is a popular fishing lake so you can fish off of the dock, or use the canoe or kayaks. If you are looking for a particular date and we don't have our home listed, please contact us as we may be able to accommodate!

Beautiful home, well equipped with spectacular view. We caught supper (bass an crappie) off the dock. Weather for august was amazing-high forties to high sixties. Enjoyed a variety of local restaurants and bars, especially Maucieri’s. Owner was super responsive. Highly recommend this rental .

Best vacation ever!

The house has everything. Comfortable beds, a bit high but we managed. Waking up to a keurig and lake side seats. Kayaking for the first time, that was so awesome!We had a blast and it was very relaxing. The owners are very communicative and just really wonderful to work with!Thank you so much for sharing your piece of a dream life!!! I think I have to come back!

Fantastic Stay

The cabin is beautiful comfortable and very clean. The environment is very peaceful and a great place to relax and recharge. The fishing on the lake was great for our boys and it was so nice to be able to have the kayaks and canoe to explore the lake. We would love to return! Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Beautiful home on Kego Lake peaceful and lots of fun things to do kayaks,canoe, and yard games,nice fire pit for campfires. Very nice hosts who have everything you need,and answer questions almost immediately.This home is very beautifully decorated and colorful the screen porch is the best! We lived it all~

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! The house was spotless, and so very comfortable! The hosts were super helpful and check in was simple. Anything you could think of was provided, from the kitchen pantry full of spices and every pot and pan to the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and soap. All we needed was a few groceries and our toothbrushes! There were lake towels for all of us, in addition to life jackets, which we appreciated. We spent our days kayaking and canoeing, swimming in the lake, and watching the wildlife, including the resident bald eagle. We built a bonfire every night and listened to the loons. We ate dinner several times in Crosslake, which was a 10-15 minute drive, and got ice cream at the local shop there almost every day! We rented a pontoon boat in Crosslake one day, it was super easy and a lot of fun. There was plenty of room in the family room for all of us to watch a movie at night and lots of blankets to share. The beds at night were very comfortable, and we all slept great! We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes over the years, and this was the most comfortable and homey of all of them. It was a perfect family vacation and we are already talking about when we can make it up North again!

My husband Eric and I sold the home in which we raised our family and built a smaller one on Kego Lake in Fifty Lakes, Minnesota, now that we've been empty nesters for awhile. We take a few week-long camping trips every year, and decided to open up our home for the times we're going to be gone. We offer a place of relaxation and fun, while earning money to pay our lake home taxes! So, this home is not really a "rental," we live here. We will be donating 10% of our profits to charities. We moved in August of 2019 and just love it. We hope that we can share this great spot with a few people each year. It's really a special place.

What makes this property unique

Our home is on a very quiet private road with pristine views of Kego Lake. It's newer construction and has a fun vibe. Kego lake is a popular fishing lake; you can fish off of the dock, or tool around in our 14ft fishing boat (free for guests staying 3 nights or more). If you prefer elbow grease to motors, take out the canoe or kayaks for an adventure. If you are looking for a particular date and we don't have our home listed, please contact us as we may be able to accommodate!
