We had an amazing three-night stay at the Lake Michigan Beachouse! The location is fantastic, right on a beautiful sandy Lake Michigan beach between Harbor Springs and Good Hart. The cozy A-frame had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The host was incredibly nice and clearly takes great pride in his home, and it shows in all the little details. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

The host and vacation spot exceeded all of our expectations. The view and grounds were absolutely beautiful. Everything is well maintained and cared for.We had a great time and can’t wait to go back. We’re already looking forward to another trip.

We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this one had that something extra special. The setting was so beautiful and peaceful with the lake view right out our door. This home was lovingly built by the owners and their story added to the specialness. The owner Dick gave us suggestions on what to see and where to get meals and they all were wonderful. Walks and fires on the beach, coffee on the deck and beautiful starry skies !

This was a story book fantasy location!.. Absolutely amazing!.. With a wonderful kind host as well.. I was deeply moved by the story he shared about the tremendous effort and 58 years of sweat equity invested in his creation.. Extraordinary only touches on it's beauty and attention to detail!.. I have never been to such an amazing location.. You will not be disappointed!..

Thanks for the kind words. My recently deceased wife and I, since 1970, were relentless in creating a unique old world setting on the shore of Lake MI like nothing else, starting with a tiny beach house we could share with others to help finance our efforts with a focus on romance and ambiance. The same attention to detail can be said for our totally voluntary restoration of the 1889 St. Ignatius Jesuit mission Church one half mile down the road, that we have placed on both the MI and National Historic Registers. We keep it open for daily visitation & summer 9am Sunday Masses accompanied with a Native America flute player.

Dick was kind to stay up late to greet us and show us around the cabin as our arrival was delayed. Cleanliness was amazing! The beach view and access was superb! I was leery of an outdoor shower but there there was a serenity taking a hot shower surrounded by stone at sunset while hearing the waves crash against the shore. Dick's property is a story book setting and his love and hard work is apparent! We had a fire by the beach one evening and many walks along the shore. You can walk as far as you want in any direction! Found a few Petoskey stones. Even saw some deer on the beach one evening. Dick was focused on our comfort and needs and was available when we needed him but was not intrusive. We wish Dick all the best and hope to return in the future!
