Precious Family Vacation 2025

We have stayed at Beach Colony in the past and comparing to other rooms, this one was very nice and clean and had beautiful decorations. We had a great vacation with our family, especially the grandkids. Booking through VRBO was an easy process.

We absolutely loved the condo we had. It was very clean when we arrived. We had just got into the condo and the housekeeper brought us clean towels and clean bedding for the entire week. Booe Reality truly made our stay extremely comfortably.

Great Vacation Stay

This property was ideal for our family! It could use a DEEP clean, and the plastic panels above the bathroom sinks need to be fixed. But overall it was great. We had an issue with our TV's from the previous guest unplugging some wires, they came immediately and fixed all 3 TV's. Service was xcellent!!! Booe Realty was AMAZING!! And the friendliest personnel EVER!! Another great vacation!

Started bad, ended great!

The first 3 days weren't good, central air wasn't working but we got a refund for those 3 nights. Wasn't impressed with the parking garage. Beautiful place, nice location and very clean area. We ended up having a great time once the air was fixed.

The room was exactly like what was pictured. It was an amazing view. Sucked that the indoor pool was under construction and the water in the lazy river was terribly cold. They had one heated outdoor pool which was amazing! The hot tub was also wonderful. There were plenty of chairs to lounge on and a couple of outdoor games to play like corn hole that was fun! The arcade was also pretty fun. Loved the easy access to the ocean and loved how there were several ways to clean the sand off of your feet before heading back inside. Definitely recommend! My family had a blast!!

Good location on the beach....but

The property is fairly nice, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, and a lazy river. Plenty of parking, a little awkward, but not unexpected or too bad. What really brought the ratings down was the cleanliness of the property when we arrived. The good thing is that it kept us out and doing other things to stay away from the condo. Kitchen was decently clean, but the bedrooms and bathrooms were not. Hair, whiskers, and some other substance on bathroom surfaces. Bathmats, mattress covers, and comforters not cleaned between clients, it shows. Big roach on living room floor (dead). TV not hooked up, so had to figure out cabling to get it working. Not a big deal since we really didn't hangout in the room. These things would all be easy to remediate with a little time and effort. I know that all the places are really hurting on staffing so this may not be the norm, just what we experienced.

Fun time!

This place was very nice, I was worried about how it would be after some reviews seemed questionable, but my experience was great! The property manager was prompt to respond to any questions I had and very kind. There are no lifeguards, which has been pretty typical for my experiences with condos. There is a security guard to monitor the lazy river, he was very nice and when a kid was throwing rocks at people in the lazy river he handled it well. The parking garage and elevator situation is atrocious! The garage is only one car wide so having a car exit and enter at the same time is a nightmare. Lots of traffic to get into the garage since they have to let everyone pull out before anyone can get in. Only three of the parking garage floors have over passes to the actual condo area and even then there are two sets of elevators but for who knows what reason the one set doesn’t go to floor 6 so we couldn’t use it all week. All in all, the few things that could be better are way worth the positives!

We had a nice time visiting the beach and enjoying the amenities.

The communication with management was great! The property met most of our expectations. It was unfortunate that the washer and dryer were not functional, especially since we were there because of a week-long baseball tourney. The amenities entertained us between ballgames.

Nice room and good location away from downtown traffic.

The room was on average good, could use some updates in the bathrooms (toilet & shower) and in the master bedroom (old torn comforter) but for just staying a week is served its purpose. No issues with realty company they were helpful. Not happy with the prior rentors that left dirty dishes in the cabinets!!! Had to wash everything in dishwasher (glad I brought extra detergent!). The cleaning staff should have check that. The only other hassels with this hotel are the elevators are extreamly slow and only stop at specific floors very confusing and a complete waste of time! If you can just use the stairs!!! The hotel front desk staff were not helpful and rather rude but we only needed them twice (thankfully!). We enjoyed the location as we were right on the beach. I would rent this again but would rather have a room oceanfront not a side view as I enjoy listening to the ocean at night. We Love Myrtle Beach as there is so much to do and even being there a week we still didn't get to do everything we wanted, ran out of time! Thank you!
