My family stayed here for a week and it has been our favorite place yet! The rooms and bathrooms were all very good sizes, and communication with the host was amazing. The location to the beach and to all the restaurants and shopping was perfect. We hope to be back!

Everything about our stay was great. The house very comfortably accommodated our family of 12. Proximity to the beach could not be beat. Shopping and restaurants were also just a short stroll away. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. We had a wonderful vacation and would book there again.

Great property! Everything about our stay was excellent. After many years of visiting FL panhandle, this was first time at a property in the little neighborhood of Waters Edge. Just steps away from private uncrowned beach. Loved the pool for the kids. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Our experience at Vie Der Mer was fantastic. We will be back.

This house has more kitchen equipment than my own home- and with 2 kitchens and 3 refrigerators, you will never run out of space! The beds were comfy, the pool was wonderful. it’s about a 3 min walk from the house to the sandy beach! The “kids bunk room” accommodates 6 kids which leaves more bedrooms for adults. Jane & Tim were very helpful with any questions and very accommodating of our special needs grandson. There are many dining & shopping options in a 5 min walk across the street from the neighborhood gated access. We will stay here again!

Great place, check this out for sure

Would go back here for sure. Close to airport. Steps to beach and maybe a block to shops and fun. So many ice cream places nearby. And especially the close walk to beach... we loved this place.

Amazing property

We had a wonderful stay at this property. House is in a perfect location and the heated pool is perfect for spring break cooler days with kids. Location is perfect for walking to the farmers market on Sunday mornings, quick path to beach and then all the shopping and restaurants. Tim and Jane were amazing to work with and we will continue to try and stay at their properties in the future.

We absolutely loved this location and this home. This was our second stay in same general area and this is now our favorite. Thank you owners for sharing your beautiful home. I loved preparing meals in your well appointed kitchen for our crew of 11 from grandparent down to 3 year old grandkids. Hope to come back again!

The property exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a family vacation with three adult children, their spouses, and five grandchildren. The location next to the shops and restaurants was perfect.....and only 75 yards or so from a private beach was awesome. To top it off, a pool for all to enjoy! This was one of the best stays we have experienced.

Our experience at Vie De Mer was perfect! From the close proximity to the gorgeous beach, to the beautiful home that accommodated all of our family, we wouldn’t change anything! Jane was very quick to respond to all of my questions and the whole check-in process was so easy! The kitchen was huge, 3 master suites were a bonus, having our own pool was great, and we loved the 3rd floor bonus room and balcony. We are already talking about returning next summer. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Awesome house for a multiple family trip

We had a great time on our spring break. It was 3 families, so 6 adults and 7 kids and the house had plenty of room. Even had an office with a bunk where us dad could have our work calls in peace. Multiple refrigerators in kitchen were clutch for the large group. Pool as a great option for the kids to hang after the beach in the afternoon before dinner. Walk to the beach couldn't have been easier and no stress with kids running on streets with any traffic. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return!

Perfect Beach House

Just came back from a wondeful family vacation at Vie de Mer. The house surpassed our expectations and shows even better than the photos. Owners were a pleasure to deal with and addressed all our questions promptly. The home is a very short walk to the beautiful beach and the neighborhood was quiet. It's also a short walk to restaurants and shops in Rosemary Beach. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything you can possibly need from high end cookware to an assortment of serving dishes. Kids loved the pool after spending the day at the beach. The home is larger than it appears on the photos. Thank you Jane and Tim!

Fun Times at Vie de Mer!

We had three families staying at the property over Spring Break, and we had an excellent time! The views were fantastic on the third deck, the proximity to the beach was terrific (even though the weather didn't always cooperate), and the pool was warm for those less-than-warm days. We would have liked a couple more pans in the kitchen for cooking, but we made everything work. The first floor master is convenient but noisy with kids waking up early in the morning... just an FYI to those with young ones! We spent almost every evening on the top deck, enjoying the views and each other's company. Great vacation - look forward to another opportunity in the future!

Family Vacation 2023

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house and location are perfect. We had a problem with the pool. A lot of debris had fallen from trees in and around the pool because of the rain before we arrived. Someone came to check and the pump had quit working and the filters were stopped up. We couldn't use it for a couple days because of the chemicals that had to put in the water. It would not have been a problem except that the ocean was red flagged because of storms so the kids were without any place to swim. We can't control weather, so we accepted what happened and enjoyed our stay.

PERFECTION by the sea

We don't know where to begin to describe the amazing week we had at this residence during our Spring Break week. We have stayed at several other homes within Waters Edge and find the location is perfect for our teenagers/adults to bike/walk to everything you need. We park our cars (which having 5 car spots is AMAZING!) and never use again for the week. The house was spacious and perfect for our family of 6 plus friends! Two refrigerators made such. difference and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking appliances. There wasn't one thing we needed and couldn't find. The enormous trash can was brilliant (ended up using sturdier trash bags). Loved that addition. The heated pool made for the perfect place to end a day on the beach and relax and swim (the waterfall and colored lights allowed for fun games with the kids). Every bedroom was perfect with lots of room and smart TV's. And the 3rd floor "media room" with a full kitchen was great for teenagers to hang out. The laundry room as spacious for drying towels and doing a few loads here and there. Communication with the residence owner was easy when little issues presented themselves (nothing big, just internet connection, etc). The owners were quick to respond and help with the issue -- including sending their "internet guy" to resolve the issue that day! Will certainly select this home for future 30A trips and will bring more family/friends as there was plenty of space. Than you for sharing your beautiful home.

Beautiful home! Beautiful view! Needs a good, deep cleaning!

We had a wonderful time and the home truly is beautiful and HUGE! It's SO close to the water...just two minutes and your toes are in the sand! The beds were super comfortable, rooms were spacious and the double refrigerators as well as double ovens were so convenient! The pool was super clean and we noticed it was the nicest of all the neighborhood! Spent a lot of time in it! But were really disappointed in all the smudges and smears on the walls of makeup and grime that have clearly been there for quite some time by the shear number of them. The furniture and especially carpets were in great need of a good steam cleaning. And a magic eraser would do wonders for the entire house. There were no cleaning supplies to be found. Since the property rents for a week, we'd like to be able to clean up after meals, children, etc. We had to go out and buy Swiffer wet mop, Clorox Spray, even sponges and rags as none were provided. Couldn't get inside or outside speakers to work as the provided picture instructions are out of date (show equipment that is no longer in the house). This house is in THE PERFECT location! Within SHORT walking distance to every shop, restaurant, farmer's market, etc. We were very pleased with the quite neighborhood! What a great time of year to come! The beach wasn't crowded at all. The owner's recommendations for food were wonderful. Lots of stairs to get down to the beach- Just FYI if you're planning on bringing a tent/wagon, etc. But it's the exact same stairs on every entry to the beach so there's no getting around that. Quietest room is top floor...best for sleeping baby! Enjoyed our stay!

So glad you enjoyed the house and its location! Thank you for the feedback. We are so sorry you did not call us right away as we would have sent the cleaners right out and we could have walked you through the electronics. We understand you arrived an hour early and set bags down (which is fine..), but unfortunately the cleaners left pretty much after you arrived. We tell them to please take the full amount of time to clean, but I think they are more concerned about getting out of the way of the guests. We will certainly discuss this with the cleaners. You were meant to have a starter set of cleaning supplies (sponges, rags, paper towels, dishwasher and liquid dish soap) and we keep a vacuum cleaner and mop/bucket and broom in the house. If any were missing, I would have gladly reimbursed you for replacement if you wanted. I appreciate that you were trying not to "bother" us, but we would rather guests call us and give us the chance to "fix" things and allow you the best experience possible. Thank you for being our guests - I hope you stay with us again!

No creaky floors!

We just finished a week stay with two seniors, six adults, and six kids under 6–three of which are 2 (we crazy, it’s true). This house had enough space for everyone—including the younger kids in different rooms. And perhaps most importantly for young kids who still take naps during the day: no creaky floors! We could walk past their rooms on the second floor and not worry about waking them up. However, only one of the rooms had drapes to block the sun. This meant the big kids were waking up at 5:45am with the sun which is a bit too early for vacation. Otherwise the place was great. We had a few small issues (leaky refrigerator which is being replaced soon, slow draining sinks, etc) that were not enough to detract from the stay at all. Bottom line: if we return to rosemary beach/Seacrest we would likely stay here again.
