WOW, you'll have it all! Swim with the manatees, scallop, fish, kayak, boat or golf. Escape from the winter weather, the congestion of traffic, and the hustle and bustle of work and everyday life, Recent upgrades include additional furniture, a newly painted exterior and a new boardwalk to this fully furnished, decorated upscale home. This four bedroom, three and one half bathroom, waterfront home is in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Best location to the river and closest to the pool. Farthest from traffic and other homes. Special rates include: book 7 days, get 20% discount. Monthly specials (excluding scalloping season) offer four weeks for the price of three. November through March is best for manatee watching. Golfing is especially beautiful during spring and fall at numerous courses. Summers are fantastic for the scalloping! Located within Tradewinds Marina Resort, you'll have a fully furnished open kitchen, dining area, living room area with the first floor master suite which includes a king bed, soaking tub and of course flat screen TV. Queen beds are featured in each of two guest rooms and twin beds in the fourth. You'll have the use of three flat screen TVs and free WiFi. A smart TV is provided in the living room area. Park your car in the attached two car garage and access the community boat ramp to dock up to a 20 foot boat in our private slip. Availability to numerous nine or eighteen hole golf courses including highly rated World Woods. You'll love treating your family, friends and yourself to the culture of Historic Homosassa where a variety of restaurants, from casual Cajun to Wine Spectator selections treat you to culinary delights and live music. Enjoy gorgeous views of the Homosassa River, sit by the pool or fish from the pier. Less than an hour from Tampa airport and an hour fifteen minutes from Disney World. Lots more attractions within easy day trips. You'll create truly lasting memories in this quality home away from home. We retain the right to negotiate pet availability with the flat rate of $100 per pet, per visit.

We love this house!

We have rented this house for several years. We come with friends to scallop in the summer and love that we have access to a boat slip right outside our door. Great Place and Location

We had a very nice time in Homosassa. The host and property manager were super responsive to every question that we had. The house is very big which was nice since I had to do some work during the day. It is so close to many fun things to do and wonderful places to eat. It was also nice to be so close to the pool. We would come back to this house and location again.

We grew up in Maryland so are lovers of water, fishing and crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay, swimming along the beaches in Ocean City and enjoying the wildlife throughout the state. Kenny's career caused us to both spend over 20 years in Bermuda so again we were captivated by the water. So when Kenny retired and we saw this gorgeous but quaint waterfront opportunity, we couldn't resist owning and enjoying it.

Why they chose this property

We saw the resort in 2013 while visiting my sister in a nearby retirement community so we booked a vacation there for the following February, 2014. We enjoyed it so much that when we saw this house go up for sale, we settled on it before the end of the following month. We've only owned the house since March 2014 but we hope you enjoy it and the surrounding activities as much as our friends, family and we do.
