Very nice house, more spacious than anticipated (especially the outdoor space) in a perfect location on Seneca Lake. Everything on the entire stay was as good or better than expected. Thanks for having us!

We loved the property. It was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The house is right on the lake and the views are wonderful. Sitting by the water and listening to the water is so relaxing. One thing to be aware, 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs and there is no bathroom, so anyone upstairs will need to come down to use the facilities. Other that that, it was a wonderful stay and a great property.

This is our third year in a row that we have stayed at this house. We utilize the kitchen to cook many meals, and everything you need is made available. We are very pleased with our stay.

There were 7 women on a girls getaway in May and we had a blast. The location is at a great spot for us to get to wineries and to go hiking. It has a great view as well. Anything we needed at the house was there which was great.

We loved the house for its location, beautiful view, and direct lake access. There was five of us on a girls trip and were glad for each to have their own bedroom. Of note, one of the five bedrooms is a bunk house separate from the main house. It was difficult to unlock but the owners responded quickly and provided assistance. It was comfortable out there but if you’re a person who needs to use the bathroom overnight you’d have to walk back to the main house for a bathroom. We enjoyed the amenities but did wish coffee and a hair dryer were included. We were traveling from out of state and most places include coffee. We had to buy a can to make it in the drip coffee maker. Also have literally never stayed anywhere that didn’t have a hair dryer. Overall though, these were minor and we would stay again. The location was within short distance to many wineries.

This place was really nice. The downstairs living area/bedroom/bathroom was great for our group, as one couple could seperate from all the kids upstairs. We didn't have any issues with the well water situation, and were able to take normal showers. The firepit area was nice, and we didn't have any problems with mosquitos. The kids enjoyed jumping in the lake, and the sunset views were great! Communication & check in went smoothly, and the extras provided (garbage bags, TP, spices etc...) were appreciated. Lots of room to park cars also. The only feedback worth mentioning is that a little TLC could really spruce the place up. Alot of peeling wallpaper, creeky screen doors that had trouble shutting, and the curtains and blinds were missing on one of the windows in the kids room, so we had to get creative so that they wouldn't wake up at 6am! Overall, it was a really nice place - and we would stay again. Thanks!

Beautiful location

This was a great house right on the lake. It is close to many wineries. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I had before the trip and to the minor plumbing problem we had while there.

Beautiful spot

The location was very convenient. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset was so beautiful and peaceful. We took advantage of the lake on our paddleboards.

Excellent Family Wine Trail Stay

Excellent location for beautiful, quiet sunsets. Close to Watkins Glen where we had an excellent night out on Captain Bill's dinner cruise. The wine trail can begin right at the top of the road the home is on. The home has everything you need for a great vacation. Enjoyed grilling by the water.

The house is in a great location and has beautiful lake views! We had a great time staying here with our friends for a long weekend. Close to many state parks with beautiful hikes, no shortage of waterfalls and wineries. The property has private well water so took a little creative showering with our group of 7 and the hot water wasnt working the first night but it was an easy fix and the hosts were quick to respond.

Amazing view! Plenty of room for 6 people. Great communication from the owner. Only thing I think people need to know is how long and steep the stairs to the lake are.

Beautiful lake front property

This house was perfect for our group of 4 friends. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck overlooking the lake, watching the sunset and listening to the acorns bang off of the roof. We even got serenaded by a screech owl. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Beautiful location

It was the perfect cottage for our family group with lots of discrete space for sleeping and socializing. The 2nd floor porch overlooking the lake is as nice as I have ever been on - anywhere. The best thing about this property is the owner. She is extremely responsive to problems that arise.

Family Reunion

We were so happy with everything about this property. The location is beautiful, and the house was very clean. We spent so much time on the deck and on the dock. The view is amazing, and the area was so quiet and peaceful. We had family in from California for our reunion who had their own rentals. They loved the area. We would definitely return.

Beautiful view, comfortable home

We had a great time at this property! The layout allowed for one couple on each floor, which was very nice. The house is very well equipped and furnished very comfortably. We spent most of the time on the spacious deck and on the dock as it was very humid and the A/C never really cooled off the upper and lower floors. Once the humidity broke, it was very comfortable. We would definitely visit again!
