The cabin was beautiful ! Loved that the backyard opened up to nature conservancy land so it was all forest. Location of the property was a close walk to Sugar Pine Point State Park with lots of hiking trails. Spa, BBQ and outside table/chairs were great. Kitchen was well stocked.

Nothing but forest out the back door makes for a pretty magical backyard! With Sugar Pine Point trails a short walk away and the spa waiting after hikes, it sounds like the cabin delivered the full Tahoe experience. Thanks so much for staying with us, and come back to the woods anytime!

Really great location, nice amenities in the kitchen, bathrooms, as well as the hot tub outback. Very comfortable stay. We did feel like the carpet upstairs smelled a lot like pet urine so that was unfortunate. But overall, the beds were very comfortable, and the place was really perfect for our stay.

The cabin was lovely, clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. One thing that would have been helpful to know before booking was that there was construction along the street during our stay. Crews were present when we checked in on Saturday and when we checked out on Monday, and the work was quite loud early in the morning. Part of the driveway was also blocked off for the work, which made parking a bit tight. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, but it may be something future guests would appreciate knowing before booking. We also didn’t realize the hot tub had restricted hours and could not be used at night; having that clarified in the listing would have been helpful as well. Overall, though, we had a great stay and would happily book again!

Just stayed at this property over the Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect for us! We have an adult autistic son and a small dog. We asked for help a few times to accommodate our son and the responses were quick and sincere. This place was cozy, quiet, clean, and everything worked perfectly. Best of all, our son, who is very particular, loved the place! We will definitely be back!

Cabin was in great shape and close to the lake, with private beach access. Hot tub was wonderful. Cabin is close to a market, coffee shop and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, cozy and comfortable cabin.

Stayed with our family during our summer vacation. This cabin was delightful, clean and beautifully decorated. Check in/check out very easy. Cabin manual had great recommendations for beach and dining options.I recommend and would come back!

Cozy Cabin

Perfect cabin for a visit to Lake Tahoe. Check in process was very easy and great convenient location near grocery stores, snow play area, and activities. The cabin was very clean and kitchen was well equipped. Super cozy and would definitely come back!

The house was very comfortable and clean, and in a fantastic location to get to all the West Lake Tahoe sights! It was perfect for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). We enjoyed the stocked board games and hot tub. Parents of small children may want to know the back yard is not fenced, so you will need to keep an eye on them.

Amazing vacation rental

Top down, the amenities, setup, and hospitality was top notch. The property management covered a lot, from high end amenities (like shower products) to towels, to pots and pans, to cooking needs (olive oil and salt and pepper) and in keeping the home cool for summer nights with no a/c (fans in every room). Will book again!

Forest Views is a lovely, comfortably cozy, ground floor place. It is very neat and clean. It’s perfect for anyone who really doesn’t want the double or triple stairs in the bigger homes. The four stars was due to the sleeping options. While there is definitely enough sleeping options for 6 people, and the master is on the ground floor, that is the only one really viable bed for two people. The second larger bed is against two walls, requiring the second person to crawl over the other. That’s where cozy comes in. On the plus side, they use fitted sheets. Making a bad with flat bottom sheets, oddly, are an annoyance for us. It also has a terrific fireplace. AvantStay provided professional, friendly and responsive service. While this particular location may or may not always fit our needs, when looking for other options, we’ll begin with AvantStay.
