About this property

This beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home sits right on a tidal creek and provides some of the most amazing sunset views you've ever seen. Sit outside on the screened in porch and sip your sweet tea or cocktail while watching your fur babies run around in the fenced-in yard. This home has covered parking for your RV and a two-car garage. The inside of the home was recently renovated (including the bathrooms). Rooms are equipped with Roku sticks for streaming your favorite programs and there is high-speed wireless internet available for working from home or downloading. Fur babies are welcome too!

Please note this home has a grassy median towards the end of the driveway that separates each side of the road. Trailers and construction vehicles cannot be accommodated at this home because they cannot be backed out without damaging the median area. If you book the home and bring these types of vehicles, we unfortunately will have to ask you to leave or leave your vehicle/trailers/equipment off-site. Regular 4 wheel vehicles are the only ones allowed (and motorcycles).

Pros and cons

Pros: convenient, clean, large back porch, beautiful sunsets. Cons: hot water takes a long time in kitchen and baths, the beds are bouncy and loud, communication with the owner is non existent after initial booking. I tried emailing, texting etc and got no response.

It was too dirty for our likes

Upon arrival we all removed our shoes as is custom for our family. Within 10 minutes of getting situated in the home we noticed that the soles of our socks had started turning a solid shade of dark brown. We ended up having to vaccum & mop the entire home.The mopping revealed the most disgusting looking water which closely resembled the look of a portable mudd puddle. The master bedroom with the en suite bath had a used maxi pad stuck to the doorframe of the closet which is absolutely revolting. We were so grossed out that we couldn't use the closet at all. It's probably still stuck there. Master bathroom shower pan was covered in grass clippings and mud chunks. Additionally the backsplash was covered in toothpaste splatter and the previous occupants had left a filthy & crusty looking toothbrush case behind in the medicin cabinet. The entire kitchen and every cabinet was covered with white pet fur and most of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty and had food stuck to them. We essentially had to deep clean the home to be comfortable which is not acceptable. Location and property are otherwise pretty and spacious.

We usually stay on St. Simon's Island but decided to try staying in Brunswick to get the view. First of all the view is incredible and we enjoyed watching sunsets on the back porch most every night. Secondly, the house is very well appointed with things like extra pillows, extra blankets, and so forth. Every bedroom has a tv (if you need it). The living room chairs have USB charging. We loved it, our dogs loved it. Five stars!

Very pleasant stay, house was very clean and nice neighborhood was really nice and in a good location. House itself is very accommodating I’d love to do it again. Looking forward to a revisit.
