The house was perfect in every way! Great location. Great set up. Very clean. Well stocked and everything labeled to make it easy to find. We loved the hot tub and solarium and ate most of our meals there in the evenings after exploring the area, which is beautiful. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again sometime!

Excellent property in great location to access the Discovery Trail. House was clean, nicely stocked and well laid out. Appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with many pots, dishes, and devices to make it easy to cook. Loved the cabinet labels that made it easy to find things. Enjoyed seeing the deer greet us in the front yard after a long day’s bike ride. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home base/get away

A wonderful place with everything you need. The perfect home base for exploring the park and Port Angeles area. The hot tub was just what was needed after a day of hiking. The fireplace was the place to relax with a nice fire on a cool evening.

The property is located in a typical residential neighborhood on a street behind an elementary school on the west side of Port Angeles. Everything in town was <10 minutes away (by car).

Great home and location

We returned for the second year. It’s such a great house in a perfect spot close to everything to do in Port Angeles and the Olympic National Park. The house is impeccably decorated, clean and nicely done with extras like the coffee bar and wine fridge. The covered outdoor fireplace and hot tub are so great. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic home close to the national park.

Our family spent a few nights in this lovely home. We loved the close proximity to the park and the quite neighborhood it sat in. The house was spacious and provided plenty of room for our family of 5. We very much enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The home was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable and welcoming. There was an issue with the hot tub before our arrival and the homeowner was quick to let us know. I can't say enough great things about this property and the owner. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Home Base for Olympic

Everything was great. The solarium and hot tub were awesome to hang out in at the end of the day. We brought our 10-month-old and they supplied a pack n play and a high chair, which was perfect. Loved that there was Tupperware for our leftovers. Good location for us to explore Olympic National Park.

This home was perfect! Great location for visiting Olympic National Park. Fully equipped kitchen and the screened in solarium with hot tub was a great way to end the day after a long hike. Owners were so easy to work with and took immediate action when we had an issue with the tv. Didn’t just fix the tv actually replaced it with a new one while we were out hiking in the park. Top notch service with a view! Will definitely be back!

Was a great weekend get away for me and my girlfriend and our friends. Enjoyed using the smart TV for college football and the Mike Tyson fight. Enjoyed the hot tub, and outdoor fire place. And had almost all of the kitchen accessories we needed and more, great couples weekend get away for a couple of friend's. Had no problems getting in and out of the place, didn't interact with the host at all, but didnt have any need to.

2025 Planning!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We were looking for a space that offered multiple spaces to plan in, and this property met our wants wonderfully! We enjoyed Port Angeles a bit in the morning and got straight to “work” at Home Base Adventure House planning together. From all the hospitable spaces the house offers with all the little extras to a very comfortable night sleep in the King bed! We especially loved our time in the covered area with a fire place and rocking chairs. We made a delicious meal for ourselves and the kitchen had what we needed to accomplish that- including sharp knives! Sam was so kind to accommodate us as with some special needs.. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

What I love most about hosting is sharing my cozy and unique space with others, especially those that are here to hike and adventure.

Why they chose this property

I love my neighborhood because it's quite and I only have neighbors on 2 sides of my house. There is woody forest behind the house, and I get a view of the harbor and bay.

What makes this property unique

My property is unique in the fact that I have an enclosed solarium that has all the amenities of an outdoor hangout spot without being subjected to the weather. I have a hot tube, fireplace, grill and outdoor games that can all be enjoyed in the comfort of an enclosed space.
