Host James is very responsive and friendly! The condo is filled with top of the line kitchen/dining tableware, grilling tools, and glass and plastic dining options. There are snorkels, fins, beach chairs, body boards, beach towels, a number of coolers of varying sizes, and plenty of everything needed. The condo is very nicely furnished and is in a prime location as it is easy to get to beaches, restaurants, bakeries, and the airport. We would definitely stay here again.

Kitchen was fully stocked. Master bedroom was comfortable. The location is the bomb. Best snorkeling ever and we’ve traveled a lot. It’s right across the street. It’s not a beach for kids to play in the water so much, but for teen’s snorkeling and surfing is wonderful. It’s not a resort area which is another plus. Close to a shopping plaza with a really nice grocery store and several restaurants. Parking was easy. Pool is cute. Great stay.

We had a lovely stay here. When we arrived the condo AC was not working but contact with management resulted in quick resolution. The unit is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator, wonderful for carrying in suitcases and groceries. It was well appointed, quiet, with lovely lanai and window views of mountains/ beach/ocean. Had coffee every morning on that good sized lanai. There is a nice snorkeling beach across the street. The pool was clean and hot tub wonderful. The unit is close to many things and there is a bus/trolly that runs between shopping center and downtown Kailua if you don't want to drive. Lots of parking at unit. Would stay there again. Thank you

This was the cleanest, most well-stocked condo we’ve ever stayed in during our trips to Hawaii, right across the street from excellent snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach Park! The unit is well maintained and has a lot of insulation, so we didn’t have to rely on the A/C to stay cool as much as some other places. The kitchen had everything - there was even a French press and filtered water in the fridge.Gorgeous lanai with comfortable chairs, and the master bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. It’s a quieter complex than some. Property manager and owner are friendly and easy to communicate with. I hope to stay here again!

We loved this place. Very good layout for a family, with a snorkeling beach JUST across the street. Such a great location. Everything worked, everything was clean, the kitchen was actually well-stocked (they all say that, but you never really know…). And as a bonus- beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. All the stuff you want but you can’t bring it on the plane. Just a nice place to stay while touring the big island.

We are a happy family of four--myself (Hee), husband James, son Ryan, and daughter Hana. I grew up in Oahu and have always loved the Hawaiian lifestyle. So I had mixed emotions upon graduating from the University of Hawaii to head to the mainland for work. But that's where I met my wonderful husband James. James is the breadwinner for our family but his true passion is photography and Hawaii has always been his favorite place to photograph. The beautiful beaches, tropical palm trees, breathtaking sunsets, and happy people in paradise always make for wonderful photos. Our two kids, Ryan and Hana will be raised with lots of Aloha the Hawaiian way.

Why they chose this property

We both love traveling and have taken many trips across the globe. But if you ask us where we would want to retire, Hawaii would be the first words out of us. When we stayed at this complex in 2013 while vacationing on Big Island, we instantly fell in love and knew we had to become owners one day. This modern unit (built 2007) is among the newest you'll find on Alii Drive and together with the gorgeous infinity pool, the open air lanai, and easy access to Kahaluu Beach make for an unforgettable Hawaiian vacation!

What makes this property unique

There's so much benefits offered by this unit and location! The outdoor lanai offers splendid views of Kahuluu Beach and amazing sunsets every single day! It's also the perfect place to have coffee/breakfast as you get ready to snorkel Kona's best snorkeling spot. The location can't be beat--there is no complex with better access to Kahuluu Beach...all you have to do is walk across the street! The gorgeous infinity pool & jacuzzi is the perfect way to cool down and offers splendid reflection views of Kahaluu Beach Park's coconut trees. As one of the newest buildings on Alii drive, this unit is located just far enough from downtown Kona to avoid the noise and traffic, yet has easy access to shopping centers, farmers' market, and local eateries.
