HAWAII AT ITS BEST! From the privacy of the extra long lanai (exclusive to 3 units), you will enjoy the perfect vantage point for watching whales seasonally, spinning dolphins, turtles, surfers, sailboats, and listen to the crashing waves. The small Banyan Tree condo complex is located midway between Kailua Kona and Keauhou. The Banyan Tree is a small, well-kept complex with only 20 units so it never feels crowded. The property is located as close as you can get to the Pacific Ocean. In fact new construction is no longer allowed to be as close to the ocean as Banyan Tree. The heated, ocean front pool has mesmerizing views and plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. Barbecue grills and a hot tub are also poolside. A spacious veranda next to the unit offers amazing views and larger tables for entertaining. Directly next door is a small, sandy beach which is a perfect entry for surfing, boogie boarding and paddle boarding.
Banyan Tree is centrally located on the sunny side of the Big Island in Kailua-Kona. Top rated restaurants like the Poke Shack and local farmers markets are minutes away. Downtown Kona, with galleries and shops is less than three miles. Alii drive, which is great for ocean walks, is right out the back door. Ready for the beach? Magic Sands Beach is less than a mile away. Kahalu'u Beach is only two miles and has easy snorkeling where you can get up-close to beautiful reefs and abundant sea life. It's also a perfect place to learn to surf. Postcard perfect beaches such as Hapuna Beach and Kua Bay are to the north and Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and Captain Cooks monument lie to the south. Since Banyan Tree is located about halfway up the coast you can drive to either end of the island in about 30 minutes. When you're done just park in your designated parking stall and take the elevator steps away to your retreat!

The A/C unit is 36000 BTU (cools 1500 sq ft/condo is 1100 sq ft) it sits in the living room/master bedroom, the back bedroom door needs to be left open for A/C to flow into.

We live in Boulder Colorado- outdoor living is what we are all about. We bought Banyan Tree to surf right from the property plus watch other surfers and the whales right from our deck. We are so happy we can share our beautiful place with you.

Smaller complex only 20 units makes the pool and hot tub feel private- everything is easy assessible. Pool and Hot tub hours 9am-10pm
What makes this property unique
Palm trees plus the surfers right outside your double oceanfront deck. Also the large veranda which is just to the left of the unit.
