Everything about this experience was perfect. David’s communication was way above par. He was responsive, open, and even let us know he had had a bear sighting in his yard the day before. Building on the character of his 1895 home, David has transformed 500 sq feet into a cozy and efficient little retreat. We were welcomed to use his yard (still brimming with zinnias, coral bells, and a lovely carpet of grass and shady trees). Its location was within walking of shops and venues, and only half a block from one of my favorite Asheville diners! I am looking for every excuse to visit again.

Nice quiet suite in a good area, walkable to downtown and 5 minutes away from everything by car, very convenient to the highway. Comfortable bed and nice sitting room with a table and couch. I worked as a white water river guide and a bike tour guide in this area for 15 years, so feel free to inquire about river trips and bike rides around the Asheville area.
