The Retreat is a luxury cabin with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Under new ownership in October of 2020, this secluded log cabin is tucked away out of sight – so whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or family adventure – relaxation, great memories and an escape from everyday are assured. The Retreat is professionally redecorated with new appointments and furnishings throughout, all of which maintain the rustic cabin's unique character. The Retreat is designed to be your vacation enclave and features three levels, each with amazing views of Blue Ridge Mountain vistas. The top level features a master bedroom with adjoining master bathroom which walks out into a loft with two twin beds, sleeping four. The main level features vaulted ceilings with a stone fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen and a master bathroom featuring a walk in shower connecting to a master bedroom which sleeps two. The lower level was designed as a gathering area "suite." Enjoy a rousing game of foosball, a movie, or cable TV on a mounted 52 inch Blu-ray/DVD television. The lower level also features a queen bonus bed room and two custom "built in" bunk beds, sleeping another four. The lower level has a 1/2 bath. In addition to Leatherwood Mountain's equestrian center, riding trails, stocked ponds, hiking trails, swimming pool, tennis and playground areas, The Retreat has over 6.5 acres of woods to explore alongside a custom stone fire pit area, especially suited for you to enjoy a glass of wine or s'mores on a chilly evening.If you want a Retreat from everyday life look no further.

Perfect in every way with breathtaking views

from the moment you step in there is warmth, hospitality and beauty . we have stayed in many places - this was amongst the best. Very clean, beautifully decorated and just perfect . It is a wonderful spot to be with family and the views are incredible. Cannot recommend enough. We are so grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful spot

Needed A Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Experience was great and gave me the opportunity to rest, unwind, and recuperate from my sometimes stressful routine. Everything was beautiful and well furnished. There is one thing I would like to see improved. The TV service in the Living Room was outstanding and different than in the Master Bedroom. The Living Room television could be a little bit larger for us over 65 year old. I also serviced 20 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps. The choice of channels in the Master Bedroom is very limited. I believe having the same TV lineups in your Master Bedroom as in the Living Room would definitely would provide a good return on your investment. I mostly slept in the Living Room because I was watching the Downtown Abbey series which I could not get in the Master Bedroom. Lastly the incoming telephone number for The Retreat needs to be posted more VISIBLY. Wish I could have stayed longer!!!FIB 06/07/2022
